"Joellen and Muffy are rock stars!  Over the past 9 months I have had them over on 3 different occaisions.  I was in a state of despar over the condition of our home.  My hubby and I are pack rats and "stuff" had just taken over.  A friend suggested I hire a professional organizer.  To be honest, I didn't know that such people existed.  I researched companies in my area and found Organizing4U.  Their references were impeccable and I felt a real connection after speaking to Joellen for the first time.  She came to our home for a consultation.  I really appreciated the fact that she was so non judgemental and pointed out the things we were doing "right".  I couldn't wait to start!

Our first project together was my kitchen.  My hubby, Joellen and I worked on it all day.  By the end of the day, everything had a home or it was given to charity or trashed.  It is so much easier to clean now that everything has a place.

Our second visit involved Joellen, Muffy and myself.  Muffy is such a sweetheart!  I can tell why they are such awesome partners.  While Joellen and I worked in my bedroom, Muffy tackled my sons' room and the spare room.  We had so many clothes that they boys outgrew.  Muffy kept a running talley of the things that went to charity for our records.

Our third visit involved the three of us again. This time, we went through the thousands of pieces of mail invading my home.  I feel like these ladies are old friends.  They are just so easy to work with.  You never feel pressured to part with or change something in a way that makes you uncomfortable.  I already recommend them to family and friends.  They are worth every penny!"

At every stage of planning my move, their staff was accessible by phone, and they provided emailed confirmation messages that reassured me that all details were correctly specified. I was also in contact with a specific staff member who handled my account, so that I had a consistent contact person available who was familiar with the details of my move. They allowed me to schedule at no charge a pre-move assessment visit of my home, so that we could strategize ahead of the move date. On the day of the move, they called ahead to let me know that they were en route; arrived on time; and were very efficient in their work. I was pleased that they were respectful of my home during the move. Overall, this move was a very positive experience, and I highly recommend Moving Ahead Services."

"Our son was moving out of our home and into his own home.  It was a small move, just his bedroom and a couple of couches and tables, but some of the pieces were large and we needed help.  Damion was slow to get back to us when I contacted him for an estimate and was very apologetic, because his computer had broken and he had to recover some of the emails and voice messages.  After that it all ran smoothly.  He emailed me several times before the move, called the night before, the company was right on time.  The movers had everything in the van in half an hour and back out in about the same time.  Not a scratch on anything.

"My experience with Kevin Teppo from Teppo's Interiors was very positive from the initial phone call to the final stage of the installation. After discussing what I was looking to have done over the phone, Kevin brought carpet samples to my house. I appreciated the fact that  Kevin spent time explaining how he works directly with a supplier enabling him to keep his pricing down and the different grades of carpeting he had to offer. He and his two- man crew were punctual and completed the job in a timely fashion. They kindly rolled up the old carpet and padding and put it outside neatly along my driveway. They also put back the furniture when they were done. My house was left neat and ready to go. Kevin provides "old fashioned" service----out to provide the best for his customer.

"It is a waste of money. The great majority of people are not going to find any value out of the service. If you need design consultation, you need a full service consultation. If you already have knowledge and experience, and you just need to get a few ideas, then you don't need to pay for that. You can just get a magazine or a book since you already have the knowledge of basic designs in your head or a little bit of experience. To have someone call you and give you information over the phone, you are not getting the personal service that you need. You may as well take the money $49 and apply it to something else like getting someone else to come out and give you the service that you need. Because, you are not getting much, you are not getting anything at all. They are going to have you do the work. After talking to them and I was talking to other home designers, I found out that that was a waste of time and waste of money. I gave them a C because they didn't fail at what they do but they don't offer any value for what they do. There's not much value to it. The cost was fair. They didn't do a terrible job and the cost isn't terrible, it was only $49. It just has a very low value. For responsiveness I gave them a B because they will answer your phone and answer your emails."
