  Stauffer's did a great job on my 2-story Tudor style home with synthetic stucco and cedar trim. I wanted the project done within a month of getting the quote, and they were able to accommodate. There were several parts to the project that they handled: power wash, repair holes in both wood and stucco made by carpenter bees and woodpeckers, replace trim boards that were damaged from incorrect flashing placement, prep and painting of all exterior surfaces including garage doors, entry doors, gutters/downspouts, and chimney flashing. Jorge and his crew worked diligently and with pride in the results. They power washed the entire exterior including all the brick and a large chimney, even removing stains from a rusted chimney cap. Multiple holes were patched and now can't tell where they were. Jerry (the owner) kept in close touch, making sure I understood when they would be doing what, and the options when it came to replacing the rotted wood and repairing damaged stucco. The carpentry expert he brought in for that part of the job did flawless work. During the final inspection, Jerry walked around the house with me and the crew quickly took care of a few things that were missed. One of them had roofing expertise and he fixed how one of the gutters was incorrectly positioned. The first call was never returned but I called again a week later and I spoke to someone who said once the weather cleared he would do a drive by. That was over a month ago and nothing.   Beacom Construction Co LLC was extremely professional when it came to repairing the water damage caused by an improperly installed shower pan when the house was initially constructed. Years of slow leakage caused the subfloor to fail under the shower and kitchen sink areas. Beacom Construction was able to come in and make repairs in a very manner keeping the costs reasonable and not creating extra unneeded work as others had quoted.   In Nov 2020, they quoted for our deck and took deposit. In May 2021, they announced they don't know how to build it, and we must hire a soil engineer to give them the specs for how deep to dig, etc. Crazy! So we lost 6 months from when they took our deposit to when they said they couldn't do it. To make it up to us, they offered to refund our deposit. Wow, how generous! LOL. Nothing to make up for the fact that they screwed up and jerked us around for 6 months. Now we need a new contractor, and price of materials has spiked read less

  I would not recommend Property Worx after all the struggle and misinformation I went through. Though their workers did a good job on my fire pit and sitting wall, working with their designers/project manager/owner was a terrible experience and they did not take accountability for it – somehow seemed to be all my fault. From Property Worx first firing the project manager I was originally working with and no one telling me nor listening to me what was previously discussed with him, to all the miscommunication on what was included/not, to not listening when I was ready to start the project and blaming me for the delays, to being given an electrical allowance - one that I was promised by the project manager they fired I would not come close to as it was just a buffer in the event we needed to install a new outlet or put the lights on a switch (we did not go with those options) - but then was still charged the full amount was a mess. When I asked for a detailed invoice to see where the discrepancies were in the electrical allowance and why the price was so high, I got a high level explanation and was never provided one. In fact, they turned defensive as if they were hiding something or making up for something somewhere else. I even asked to speak to the owner and sent an email to the project manager’s boss asking to speak, however no one returned my calls or emails. It went silent on their end, except for the project manager asking for his money three times/weeks before the invoice was actually due. I never once mentioned a discount of any sort, and was planning to pay the full amount without any hassle as I just wanted to be done dealing with them. All I asked for was a detailed invoice, one an organized company should have, and they couldn’t/wouldn’t provide one. Either the labor to do electric was greater than 60% or the upcharge on the materials was outrageous. With what started out as a positive experience with the first project manager, unfortunately ended badly with terrible/rude customer service and poor communication. I will not be recommending them to anyone and regret choosing this company read less
