"Each team of workers treated our home as if it were their own.  During framing, they asked our opinion about a slight change to a wall to insure that persons would be able to have walking clearance between the new wall and pole.  Also, they increased the size of the walk-in closet a foot during framing because we had the space.  We were able to choose 3 paint colors. We love color and was excited about this option since the upstairs is one shade of beige. The painters asked our opinion about one color choice of the basement after cutting in the color on the wall. We realized that it looked quite different on the walls than on the color chip. We were able to change the color for a small fee because the original color that we chose did not look good for the bath.

The electrician added two small lights to the storage area because one part of the area would be dark when the barn door was closed. During the framing stage, Todd, one of the owners allowed us to purchase the wiring and HDMI cable for television or for a projector without additional charge. This made tv installation so much easier for the installers and tv programmers. Todd covered the upstairs wood flooring which was necessary to maintain our floors and reduce the impact of constant traffic leading to the basement. They constantly cleaned up after themselves. They maintained a professional demeanor during the entire construction. The level of quality of the finished basement area matches the quality of the rest of the house.

The basement feels like a sanctuary away from home even though it is in our home. Everything works well and we are glad that we refinished half of the basement. If we ever decide to finish the other half of the basement we will certainly use Finished Basements Plus Inc. again. The finished basement area is an asset to our home and we love it!
