"The company was very responsive initially, coming out to do an estimate and everything quickly. Ray seemed to be very competent and knowledgable about going through Dominion's energy rebate program. Workers showed up and completed the work timely. That was the last positive experience. NRG failed to submit my rebate paperwork, causing me to nearly lose my rebate. When I called/emailed Ray and the company to inquire, Ray failed to respond to any emails I sent. The person in the office assured me the paperwork was sent in (it wasn't). They didn't complete the paperwork properly, so Dominion attempted to reach NRG multiple times, but never received any follow up, causing me to lose some money on my rebate. NRG also had a man come and check out my roof, who told me it looked like it had been damaged in a storm. Attempted to work with him to get it replaced. Should have known it wasn't worth the effort when the guy failed to follow through on calls/emails from myself and the insurance adjuster. Eventually he came out, ripped off shingles when the adjuster came out as part of a "test". The claim was denied and the guy from NRG never really followed up again in spite of multiple emails and calls. So now I have a bunch of torn shingles on my roof and a notice from insurance company to have it repaired or I'll lose my coverage. Supposedly he'll replace the torn shingles, but its been 2 months and they're still missing."

"He can be pretty busy, so you might have to wait a week or two, but the wait is well worth it. He doesn't overbook, so he comes when he says he will. He has done much work both when I was living in the house and after I moved 350 miles away and put it up for sale. I simply gave him the keycode for the house and let him do his thing. He phoned photos of what needed fixing, and "after" photos. At first I asked for estimates, and after hiring him several times, simply gave him the go-ahead and his billing was more than fair. I once overpaid him by paying an invoice twice, and he tore up a $900 dollar check and texted me to let me know. THAT'S HOW HONEST HE IS! I've bought faucets and lighting fixtures online and had them delivered to him (because my house was vacant) and he installed them for me rather than insisting on buying them himself (as most contractors would) and passing a markup along to me. He also recommends others for work he doesn't care to do or doesn't have time to do. He will also tell you what doesn't need replacing but can be repaired at less cost. I cannot possibly write a recommendation for him that is as strong as he deserves! In sum, he does excellent work, is on time, reasonably priced, has the integrity of the Pope, is honest to a fault, and can be trusted with the keys to your kingdom."

"All service was timely & excellent! Workers showed up when promised & began work immediately...there was no down time! They were polite, organized, hard workers, caring for our property covering landscape and deck with drop cloths & cleaning up everyday. The first scheduled day turned out to be rainy, but the crew leader & his son showed up to get things organized and ready for the next day. As we needed a tear-off, a dumpster on wheels was provided as our drive way is quite new & they did not want a dumpster without wheels to possibly damage our drive--this was arranged ahead of time by their on-line picture review of our property! Impressive! Their knowledge and skill were great & the crew leader was informing us every step of the way - ie-when plywood had to be replaced in one area. They carefully removed & replaced the gutter guards.The workers were aware of appearance and made sure everything was aesthetically pleasing. The job was well done and we are very pleased. Also, Bob Hegedish worked patiently with us to pick out the perfect roof color. Totally recommend this company! Pricing was best of competition!"

"Outstanding, professional crew. Previously did a 5-star basement finishing renovation for us which we reviewed on Angi in March 2021. This time we had wallpaper removal and interior painting done, all excellent. Jim did a kitchen gas stove and fridge repair for us. He repaired and replaced two lights and a room fan for us. Laundry room and second bathroom flooring was replaced and updated. Replaced a gutter downspout. Built two patio access stairs which was a big improvement. Did an outstanding job getting our house ready to show for sale. Well above & beyond all our expectations. Jim & his crew are timely, very reliable, thorough and completely professional."

We received several quotes for the work and Savant was cheaper than most other contractors. With the service and quality of work we received I would say they are well worth the the cost. We even had some leaking on the garage roof and where other companies had quoted us to replace all of the wood for the roof, Savant was able to replace just the rotted boards and saved us hundreds if not thousands.
