Bathroom Remodel
This was a major remodeling project to redesign very small bathroom to accommodate disabled person. Working with George/team initially was great. The project design was excellent and very functional! Unfortunately, the quality of workmanship with respect to shower and floor tile installation, grouting, painting was unsatisfactory. It took 3-4 months of constant e-mail, texting, etc., for them to agree to re-do all the tile work (after I indicated I would pay for all the replacement tile), re-paint ceiling and touch up other areas where paint and/or grout were applied in a sloppy manner. It was a challenge in getting responses and scheduling the repair work. There were lots of promises, missed schedules, etc. It was an emotionally challenging and expensive experience. The final straw was their promise to re-do bathroom threshold as long as I paid for tile or marble insert piece which I agreed to do. Subsequently, I was informed that I would have to pay for the labor, and that is where we stand. I have not heard back from my texts and phone calls in over 3 months, which has prompted this review. There are some very nice and talented people on the team (and also some individuals who were assigned to do work that they were not qualified to do). Interestingly, some of the workmen indicated that they were told to do the job quickly and not necessarily up to the standards that they(workmen) felt was needed. I appreciated George/team's thoughtful design in making a very small space very functional. I was completely surprised and so very disappointed in the workmanship which was totally not expected. It would be wonderful if they circled back and completed the threshold as promised, but at this point, I have no expectations.

"Funny how when we bent over backwards to get a job done while the Client's husband was suffering with health issues it was great. We went above and beyond what anyone would do to satisfy the needs and concerns. Reworked and rebuilt things to satisfy requests. However, eventually accommodations in good faith, become abuse and absurd requests made that are unrelated to work actually completed weeks and months performed. No one will able to ever satisfy your needs Maxine, as you actually do not know what you want, change your mind after materials are installed, and attempt to pass off damage caused by third parties to be the responsibility of the installer. Most contractors would have walked off the job once the inspections had been completed. We did not. We stuck it through at our expense and replaced things had chosen and then did not like. Guess we can't please everyone. The pictures speak for themselves. Your ratings and reviews do NOT. But this is what happens when people can just post reviews without recourse, or evidence of claims in photographic proof."

My project consisted of installing walker stairs from the house to the garage. I was pleased with the quality and efficiency afforded my project. Jason was very accommodating and helpful with all aspects of the project. I would use this contractor again. As a side note it was not easy finding a company that installed walker stairs.

They did a very good job repairing my outdoor staircase. They responded to my call, provided an estimate and did the job in less than a week. They repaired the rotting steps and stringers with pressure treated wood and were able to retain the railings and original rustic look of the staircase. The work was done in a day as promised although the cost was about 11% over the estimate.

From first phone call to last visit everything was professional and communication was spot on. I had a rough idea on what I wanted and after discussion we came to an agreement on what would look best and what was feasible to do. There were a few construction issues that were inherited with the building of this 40 year old condo but they worked around them and kept me informed as to what we needed to do to keep my idea on track The result was better than I even imagined. The craftsmen were courteous, on time and work was excellent. George and other manager kept in communication and would also visit the project.

Eric was a true professional. He took care of a number of projects that we needed done. He fixed the amateurish mistakes that I had made, and was able to do something no other plumber that has come into my house has done, and that is fix the kitchen plumbing. I would highly recommend Synchronous to anyone that asks, for any job. They are always professional and helpful. He came to fix a garbage disposal and a sink and left fixing a couple sinks and plumbing as well. Far above what was requested originally. And, he did it timely and professionally.

Nightmare Scenario: Your toilet is leaking through your ceiling and you decide to renovate. Come to find out that you have multiple leaks and a cracked septic drain. SYNCHRONUS CONSTRUCTION made the process easy and understandable. They employ highly-skilled, progressive professionals who knew how to pivot whenever the job caused it to. We are in the midst of planning another job to renovate our second home. It's gives me piece of mind knowing that we do not have to exhaust hours searching for another contracting company.
