Mid state basement systems had the best and most fair pricing. They did not use any scare tactics and were upfront and honest. They were also the only company to use a laser level and show me the sag difference in my joists that I was experiencing. I hired mid-state basement systems to do crawl space support and repair on my load bearing wall in my basement. MY PROBLEM WAS UNIQUE AS LOAD BEARING WALLS NORMALLY DO NOT NEED TO BE REPAIRED LIKE THIS! At first, it was not level upon completion (BARELY 1/8 INCH OFF) in ONE spot and I let my sales rep Jiovanni know. the team came back out within 48 hrs and adjusted everything and let me take a look at it. They did a fantastic job. The installation crew even wiped down my floors for me after they were done! They were so polite, and respectful and made sure there was no damage to anything as they were moving steel beams to my basement ( my fridge was an object in the way to the basement door ) Do not let competitors make you question the validity of this business. they were fantastic. Rating of sales 5/5 Rating of the installation crew 5/5 Rating of management 5/5 Rating of mid-state as a company : 10/5 I do not believe I would have received this level of responsiveness of any of the competitors. I would choose mid-state basements for any basement project I had. Please use my review to know that mid-state basement systems will do the job the right way and how you need it to be done. In my experience, they offer the most fair pricing."

"The contracted the work off to a third party. Jon took longer than expected. The windows was installed pretty good from the looks. Communication could have been better with knowing the job will take longer and what types of trims I wanted for the windows. As the contractor that was hired for this job by this company. Did a good job with putting up decent trim. As for the new windows they look great. I purchased the myself and hired sentri homes to install them. I will need to have a my siding on my house redone to be closer to the new windows so the gaps are not so obvious. That was not expected at first. But from old storm windows and not knowing how they were put in originally. There was some unknown things that was learned from the job being completed. I will have the siding of the house slightly done to match really good for what I wanted later on. My only concern is better communication with sentri homes. Overall they were great when I did talk to them."

"We were in a situation where were moving, had two house payments and an upcoming wedding, when we had a mold test come back positive in the basement of the house we were attempting to sell during the inspection process. And to top it off, while we were rushing around moving things, and meeting contractors at the house to go over the inspection list items, my fiance mom had a sudden medical emergency that required us to be in the hospital every night by her side. Everything seemed to be coming to ahead. We were thinking about cancelling the wedding because of the stress and expense and the costs that two other remediation companies quoted us, but Martin from Advanced Restoration and Waterproofing came and looked at the basement, and, after hearing of our predicament, actually recommended someone who works on real estate transactions specifically, who he thought could help us navigate the process by providing written reports we could use to negotiate with the buyer. So, rather than having to perform an expensive total basement remediation, we came to an agreement with the buyer that saved us money and kept our home sale on track. The two other companies that had looked at it prior threw 5 to 7 grand figures at us, using our fear and our inexperience against us, so we more than appreciated Martins honesty and his advice. If we ever have a need to have moisture or restoration services performed, I will go back to Advanced Restoration and Waterproofing every time.
