"Most of what we do is full tear-out and replacement. We remove the old cracked, settling, or spalling concrete, rebuild the base the right way, and pour new. We also handle driveway extensions and widening, aprons and curb cuts, stamped and decorative concrete, and concrete repair.\n\nOur crews have poured more than 38,000 residential concrete projects. Every job gets a dedicated project coordinator, up-front pricing with no surprise change orders, and a final walkthrough before we call it finished. Licensed and insured.\n\nNeed a new driveway? "They installed French drains in my yard for improvement of drainage issues. The terrain was a bit challenging because of where I live, but they worked around it. There was some left over gravel & they spread it on the driveway for me. We've had alot of rain over the last couple of days, & the drains are doing their job. I really appreciate having this work done by Iron & Arbor!! I would definitely recommend them & hire them again!!"

"WOW!!!!! This crew did some of the most exceptional work, I’ve seen in Columbus. I would hire again, 100 times over. If you are looking to get a driveway, sidewalk, steps, porch etc, or even basement work completed. This is the crew to call! My husband and I had a driveway completed with stamping, and design. I am over the moon. My house looks like a completely different house after they left. Clean, and precise. I could rant and rave all day."

Concrete Driveways questions, answered by experts

The best pressure washer nozzle to clean a driveway is a surface cleaner with three wheels to ensure you get smooth, even coverage. The attachment allows you to deep clean a driveway’s large surface without much strain on your body, especially if you add two extender wands. Choose a pressure washer that offers 2500 to 3000 PSI and about 3 gallons of water per minute.

For pressure washing a driveway, a PSI (pounds per square inch) between 2,000 and 3,000 is recommended for both concrete and asphalt surfaces. A pressure of 3,000 PSI is ideal for deep cleaning without causing damage, effectively removing debris, dirt stains, and even oil spills. If your pressure washer has a lower PSI rating, you can still use it, but the cleaning process will take longer. For a more efficient and even clean, consider using a surface cleaner attachment.

Yes, pressure washers can remove rust stains from concrete. However, when coupled with an acid treatment, they can be even more effective. Just be sure to use a minimum of a 15-degree nozzle to prevent damage to the surface, and users must also be careful not to get in the way of the pressure washer’s jet as they can cut through skin and cause injury.

Regular maintenance will help you avoid costly repairs and early replacement. Clean the driveway surface with a stiff brush and water at least twice yearly, and remove any weeds that try to take root. Additionally, every two to five years, apply a sealcoat—this protects the driveway against damaging UV rays and keeps it looking like new.

Jet washers can last for up to 10 years, but a more exact timeline for your jet washer depends on the frequency of use and maintenance. Some machines are given a rating of their approximate total hours of usage, which can help determine how long yours will stick around based on how many hours you use it each year. Aside from learning how to properly use the jet washer, you’ll want to keep it stored safely and securely so that it won’t rust or get damaged between uses.
