"What a great experience for us. From first contact to final inspection, DeltaPro personnel were very professional, timely and helpful. DeltaPro responded to our request for an estimate promptly, scheduled a date, listened carefully to our needs and provided a detailed and timely estimate. Our project consisted of painting our kitchen ceiling, great room ceiling and walls, interior hallway walls including four (4) interior doors & trim, three (3) bedroom walls & window trim, five (5) closet doors, all baseboards and one exterior garage entry door. Once contracted, DeltaPro personnel coordinated and scheduled our project to fit into our calendar and followed up with us prior to their crew arriving. DeltaProâ s Project Manager arrived with their crew of three (3) painters on time with our signed contract to accomplish a pre-start walk-through with us and painting crew to ensure everyone understood what needed to be accomplished. Paint crew accomplished all required prep work according to contract specifications, started painting and finished everything ahead of schedule. DeltaProâ s Project Manager stayed in contact with us and painting crew and conducted the post-painting inspection with us after painting crew was done. Again, contracting our project with DeltaPro was a great experience from start to finish. Thank you for everything you did to accomplish our project in a timely, professional and expedient manner. My wife and I are thrilled with DeltaPro Painters!!"

"Brian took an old and dated house and brought life to it again. He did an awesome job painting the whole interior of the house. The house has many cabinets, a hard to paint garage and other oddities. He still managed to get done on time. Brian even power washed the whole outside of the house and painted the spouting. The exterior of the house and spouting now look brand new. Brian took great pride in painting our new old house and it shows. My house is the talk of the neighborhood and even my coworkers came to see it and are very impressed with his work. In addition, Brian is neat and organized in the process. I highly recommend Brian and his company."

"My experience with this painting company was nothing short of exceptional from start to finish! I hired them to paint my living room, kitchen, hallway, and entryway, and they went above and beyond. They meticulously painted the ceilings, trim, doors, and walls, and the result is stunning—it feels like I have a brand new house! The owner, John, checked in consistently throughout the process to ensure everything was perfect. His dedication and attention to detail were truly impressive. And the price was very fair, making the experience even better. I will definitely hire them again. If you're in need of any painting done, I highly recommend getting in touch with this company. You won't regret it!""

"If I could give more stars, I would. I had hired a different company to paint my gray house to a creamy white. It took them 4 weeks. I noticed they were cutting corners but they assured me they knew what they were doing. Fast forward 4 months later, paint starts to literally fall off. Rotted wood was painted over and not replaced. A neighbor recommended Wulfhorst Painting and Remodeling and I'm grateful they did. Brad and his team fixed their sloppy work and it looks absolutely amazing. And they had to start from scratch, pressure washing, removing peeling paint, and replacing rotten siding. It took them one week and I couldn't be happier. I was so impressed with their service and competitive prices that now I'm looking for them to renovate my master bath. Reliable, honest companies can be hard to find, so glad I found them."

Interior Painting questions, answered by experts

A traditional German schmear uses mortar, making it unsuitable for adherence to painted surfaces. Professionals recommend removing any existing paint before applying mortar. However, you can rough up the painted surface and clean it to test if the mortar will stick. Remember that the underlying paint's texture and color may affect the schmear's final appearance—so starting with a bare brick wall will ensure the ideal finish.

If the lead paint is in a place that is not easily disturbed and is not flaking or deteriorating, you do not necessarily need to remove it. Lead is toxic when dust particles or flakes from peeling lead paint are ingested. If people are not in the area with the lead paint, it may be safe to leave it in place. You still may want to consider encapsulation with a paint formulated for covering lead-based paint, just for an added layer of protection.

Sanding surfaces, repairing damage, cleaning thoroughly, and using quality primers are all steps you can take for exterior home painting.

If you recently splashed paint on the wrong area of a wooden object, remove it with a solvent or caustic paint stripper. Some paint that has yet to dry may be removable by hand with coarse sandpaper or a plastic scraper. Another trick for removing dried-on paint is rubbing a dab of nail polish remover on the paint to remove it, but avoid touching the bare wood surface.

Yes, you can pressure wash epoxy floors, but you must take precautions to avoid damaging the surface. While most epoxy floors can be cleaned with a mop, you might choose to pressure wash if the floor is stained, has ground-in dirt, or is covered with mold or mildew. To do so safely, first soak any stains or dirty areas with a gentle cleanser. Use a lower pressure setting with a gentle nozzle, such as a green, white, or black tip, or a 45-degree angled tip. Keep the spray nozzle at least 18 inches away from the floor to protect the surface. Using a surface cleaner attachment or a rotary scrubber can also help prevent overspray. Be cautious if using a power washer that heats the water, as the combination of heat and pressure may be too powerful and could damage the epoxy coating.
