"Dan is wonderful! I had several small areas where I needed drywall repair and stomping done on my ceiling. Dan and his brother did a fantastic job. You can't even tell where the patch work was done! Blends with the rest of the ceiling. They also cleaned up after themselves. I would recommend them and use their service again. Thanks Dan!"

Customers say: Quick response

"I have a textured ceiling and removed a few walls and cabinets. I knew I didn t want to try to match the pattern myself so I hired it out. If I didn t know where the holes were, I never would have been able to tell where the old ceiling stopped and the new ceiling started."

Drywall questions, answered by experts

Costs depend on damage extent of damage, labor, finishing, and whether mold remediation is needed.

While textured walls can elevate a space in many ways, there are a couple of downsides to consider. Namely, they’re hard to clean, and some textures fall out of fashion quickly. Make sure to consider all your options to find one you truly love before diving in.

You can drywall an unheated garage because the material handles cold temperatures perfectly well. There are no risks or downsides to installing drywall in a garage that is not heated, and the material stands up to moisture and other elements quite well. Drywall will protect your unheated garage's electric wires and cables and add fire protection. However, for effective bonding, you should install drywall at a temperature of 55 degrees Fahrenheit or higher.

Yes, even if you’re being careful, removing tile can damage your drywall to some degree. However, you can minimize the damage done to it by eliminating a majority of the grout and taking your time prying each tile off. Also, it's worth noting that you might have more drywall damages to deal with if your tile is set into the mortar.

Plastering and skimming are two different techniques for finishing walls. Plastering involves applying a thick layer of a plaster mixture—typically containing gypsum, lime, cement, sand, and water—to create a new surface. This process often requires multiple coats and is used for repairing significant damage or creating decorative textures. Skimming, on the other hand, is a technique that involves applying a thin layer of drywall compound or joint compound over an existing surface to smooth it out, covering minor imperfections, small cracks, or uneven textures for a polished look. Plastering is generally more costly and labor-intensive than skimming. Although some people use the terms interchangeably, they refer to different processes and materials.
