"Matt painted the kitchen cabinets and walls and installed a backsplash. He did beautiful and meticulous work. He was concerned not only with the major work, but was also particular with the smallest of details. He repaired a slight crack in a cabinet door which I was not even aware of. He also replaced a broken door knob. Our kitchen is now a modern and fabulous looking room. Matt was friendly and professional. I give him my highest recommendation."

"Hidden fees, gimmicks and falsified labor Do not work with Tim at Tristate. He bid on a quote we requested through Angi. He disclosed his service fee and that he would have an hourly labor charge depending on the tech he sent. The day before the job, he said he was adding a second guy to get the work done "before the cold snap" -- no other reason was disclosed. The men started work around 9:30am. We have a Ring garage camera that records to the cloud, so it wasn't hard to review their arrival and start time. By 9:43am they left to go pick up a small can of exterior paint and a smaller can of stain. We live 5 minutes from Ace and 15 minutes from Home Depot. They were gone an HOUR and 26 minutes--which I am going to find out only AFTER the job is complete that I would be expected to pay almost $390 in LABOR for that 90 minute road trip for 2 tiny paint cans, as Tim charged $130 per person per hour even for this time in transit--which took far too long given our proximity to stores and "

They quoted a great price to replace our 20 year old roof and communicated with us on all aspects of replacing the roof, giving us samples of roof colors, etc. Our new roof was installed yesterday in one day, by their very professional workers, with Frisby showing us photos of roof damage/repairs throughout the day!! The workers also left our property so neat that you would hardly know they were there all day! All around great company to work with!"

No. If you overlap seams, the wallpaper will not come out flat. In addition to possibly throwing off your pattern match between rolls, overlapping seems necessary. If wallpaper is properly acclimated, and temperature and moisture conditions are optimal during installation, there is no reason to fear shrinkage as it dries.

While it is possible to paint over wallpaper, it’s not always ideal. If the wallpaper is firmly adhered, has no bubbling or peeling, and isn’t textured, you can try to prime and paint over it. Use an oil-based primer to prevent the adhesive from bleeding through. However, if the paper is damaged or loose, removal is the better long-term solution.

It’s possible to hang your own wallpaper, but the process is tedious and potentially frustrating, and it can be challenging to get seams to line up and look clean and professional. Plus, depending on the type of wallpaper you’re installing, using too much or too little adhesive could cause damage to your drywall or plaster, peeling, and bubbling in the final product. It’s usually a better idea to hire a professional wallpaper installer to do the work for you, as the relatively low cost is justifiable, if only to avoid damage to your walls.
