Mid state basement systems had the best and most fair pricing. They did not use any scare tactics and were upfront and honest. They were also the only company to use a laser level and show me the sag difference in my joists that I was experiencing. I hired mid-state basement systems to do crawl space support and repair on my load bearing wall in my basement. MY PROBLEM WAS UNIQUE AS LOAD BEARING WALLS NORMALLY DO NOT NEED TO BE REPAIRED LIKE THIS! At first, it was not level upon completion (BARELY 1/8 INCH OFF) in ONE spot and I let my sales rep Jiovanni know. the team came back out within 48 hrs and adjusted everything and let me take a look at it. They did a fantastic job. The installation crew even wiped down my floors for me after they were done! They were so polite, and respectful and made sure there was no damage to anything as they were moving steel beams to my basement ( my fridge was an object in the way to the basement door ) Do not let competitors make you question the validity of this business. they were fantastic. Rating of sales 5/5 Rating of the installation crew 5/5 Rating of management 5/5 Rating of mid-state as a company : 10/5 I do not believe I would have received this level of responsiveness of any of the competitors. "Went above and beyond what was required of them. I am 64 years old and live alone and he has been here twice and his men have been here once working. I had problems with a pipe leaking under my home and he sat down at my kitchen table with his laptop and hunted a repair man for me call them up himself got quotes and set up an appointment that he absolutely did not have to do to help me out because I didn't know what to do or who to call. He has come and talk to me trying to help me get my issues fixed and if it was something they couldn't do, help me find other people that would. They set up my dehumidifier, blocked off vents and went above the job of what they were required to do to help me out. He has sent me text messages after the jobs to check and see if I needed anything. I would highly recommend the company to do any work.He has truly worked with me to get things and problems taking care of that being a 64-year-old female alone that could not have done on her own. "Altek drained out our crawl space, installed a new sump pump and encapsulated our entire crawl space adding a dehumidifier. They completed that in 4 and a half days. They showed up on time and were very professional. The project manager checked in always in person and by calling. I always got a summary at the end of each day on where they are at. "The owner came down to give us an estimate on what it would take to fix standing water issue in a house we were looking at purchasing. He performed a thorough inspection on what was causing the water to sit in the crawlspace and went over what would be required to keep the moisture and water from affecting the structural integrity of the house. While we did not end up purchasing the home, we greatly appreciated his willingness to come down and do an inspection and give us an estimate. They were recommended by my stepdad who had them do a crawlspace encapsulation on his house. He said they perform first class workmanship and were professional.
