"These guys were great!! We had a delivery of a massive new front, all in one piece, very heavy. They handled it of total care and stored it in our garage with all the very long trim pieces for installation next day. Kind of an unusual item to deliver so was concerned about the glass, scratching, damage. Again, 5-star handling and very pleased!!"

"I had a great experience with using Creative Design and Construction. They built a first floor master suite addition (that I designed ) onto our two story home. Their quote was quick, their estimated was very competive with others builders who came in late. Their completion date was exactly what I needed. I found the whole team to be very honest and fair on any changes and additions I had. I highly recomend them and would chose them again if I had any building needs in the future. Thanks again Dennis for working with us on our great new addition."

Pole Barn Builders questions, answered by experts

Choosing a suitable backyard playset that’s age-appropriate and entertaining for your children is worth the cost. A backyard playset you can update and upgrade as your kids grow offers even more benefits. Although a playset won’t substantially increase your home’s value, it won’t negatively affect it either.

Concrete blocks are the cheapest way to base a shed. However, the space in between allows critters to go under, burrow, and even damage your shed’s frame. For a more pest-proof option, consider building a shed base with gravel or paver stones. Both options are fairly affordable and easy enough for a DIY project. For gravel, you can build a wooden frame to contain the loose material.

While prices fluctuate because of increased demand, fewer supplies, and engineering time, OSB generally remains more affordable than plywood at $1 to $2.40 per square foot compared to the $4.50 to $10 for plywood. Cost is only one factor you should consider when deciding between OSB and plywood.

Whether pole barn posts should be set in concrete depends on the soil surrounding your home. If your soil is compact and digging conditions are agreeable, then setting pole barn posts in concrete is an ideal option.

Ranch and colonial-style homes are often the most affordable to build. They have a common layout with available designs that are easy to adjust in simple ways without having to spend too much on a structural engineer or architect. Both types of homes' symmetry, simple roofs, and often one or two-story plans mean they often fall in the $150 to $200 square-foot range, putting them right around average.
