"I requested cleaning service on Friday. Work completed the following Monday am. When I called for the appointment and explained that the cleaning was for an upholstered chair that required cleaning due to soiling by cat urine. The person on the phone advised that cat urine odor was nearly impossible to remove and I likely would not get a satisfactory result from their cleaning. He offered alternative option for me to remove and discard cushion and attempt to clean fabric at a cleaners and replace the cushion. Upon further investigation I found the soiling to be not only on the removable cushion but on the back of the chair as well where there was no removable cushion. Therefore I called Arslanian Bros back and told them that I knew that the cleaning would likely not remove the odor but I felt like this was my only option at this point. This was on a Friday the week before Christmas, the appt was to be for the following Mon. On Monday am I decided to call Arslanian Bros to see if they could also clean by sofa while they were here.The person answering phone indicated that they could do that and to just mention this to the technicians when they arrived. The technicians called prior to their arriving and provided expected time of arrival and came at time stated. The technicians gave me an estimate to clean chair, ottoman and sofa and apply Scothchard for $250. They reiterated the same info about the fact that the cleaning would likely not remove the cat urine odor and that it was one of the hardest odors to remove. They suggested that if the odor remained after the cleaning that I could try to remove and discard cushion and attempt to wash fabric in washer and have new cushion made. The guys were were professional, friendly and worked very quickly. They were here approximately 1 hour. As predicted, the odor remained in the chair and I am in the process of exploring options of having parts of chair reupholstered. But my experience with Arslanian Bros was good and I will definately use them again.
