"We found Downey Clean on Angie's List a few years ago and have now used them multiple times. They do 3 rooms and a hall for $99 and only charge $25 for each additional room or set of stairs. Their cleaning is superior over other companies and their customer service is wonderful. When you call, the staff is very friendly and helpful and you can tell they always answer with a smile. They can usually get you in fairly quick, within a few days, if you are in a crunch too. The guy we have come out was very efficient with his cleaning, personable and friendly with our German Shepherd and cats. We have had pet stains and odors and when he leaves, it's like our carpet has been renewed! Our living room has long shaggy carpet and is very difficult to clean, but he gets it done and it looks beautiful. At one time, he even helped us rescue a large dog! He saw the dog outside and thought our dog had gotten out and made sure to tell me. Long story short, I was able to find the owner from a mile away and get the dog back home. We request the same tech each time, great guy and he does a wonderful job. We HIGHLY recommend Downey Clean!"

"The cleaners arrived right on time.  They checked out the job, confirmed they had the correct pricing, walked through what they would be doing, and then got to work.  They cleaned all the carpets and chairs, and did a good job.  They couldn't get all of the staining out of the carpet, but I would say some of it was beyond recovery.  The bad odor of the dogs was gone when they were done and it is still acceptable.  I would recommend."

"National was great. They were able to start earlier than expected and the vinyl plank floors are beautiful. They even replaced the sub-floor in one of the rooms and removed some unlevel tile at no additional cost."

"Teppo Interiors delivered a flawless project, at a fair
price, and ahead of schedule.  After
years of searching,  my family has
finally found the right home remodeling company.  Thanks to Kevin Teppo?s precision and
expertise, I plan to partner with his firm next summer on my kitchen
?redo?.   As time and money permits, I
will be remodeling my entire 1948 Bay Village home with Kevin as my general
contractor.
This year?s project included the family room in which Teppo
Interior repaired the drywall, painted the accent wall, layed tile and grouted
two entry ways into the room, and
carpeted the main floor space.
Additionally, Teppo repaired drywall cracks and imperfections in a bathroom,
hallway, and bedroom.  All the repaired
walls were painted and the new carpeting was laid down the hallway and into two
bedrooms.
Kevin as owner and project manager closely supervised the
progress of the job.  He and I partnered
as quality inspectors and it was Kevin who
would find minor areas for his team to perfect.  Specifically, Kevin directed his workmen to
insure smooth, even drywall in tricky areas and directed that any imperfections
in the paint be addressed immediately.
As the project unfolded, I made a number of changes to the
original scope of the project.  For example,
after one of the bedrooms was painted according to my specifications, I decided
I wanted the floor boards and trim painted in a bright white for contrast.  Not only was Kevin patient in discussing the
changes with me, he implemented the changes and kept on schedule.  As the work shaped up and I found new and
better add-ons to my rooms (like painting the trim on sliding doors, carpeting
a second bedroom, and muddying the bathroom door), Kevin and I worked together
on the budget so that I was always sure that the extras would be
affordable.  This I really appreciated as
the final project was considerably more extensive than originally planned but
there were no surprises for me at the final project cost.
Kevin did surprise my husband and me with his attention to
detail and his intensive knowledge of the intricacies of every aspect of the
work.  For example, the berber carpet was
laid so that the grooves were running horizontally.  The carpet flows seamlessly from the main
hallway into both of the bedrooms.  This
obviously adds to the beauty of the finished product, and it was a
sophisticated approach to laying carpet which I so appreciate.
The tiled two stairs from the great room into the kitchen
turned out beautifully.  Kevin took my
vision of using a vinyl product (a look alike for ceramic tile) and turned the
steps into a visual  destination
point.   The steps (like the two entry
ways) are grouted to fool the eye into seeing ceramic tile.  The sides of the steps are trimmed in a
transition wood product which Kevin stained to pick up the goldish tones in the
Sand One paint and off white berber carpeting.
The result is beautiful, functional and unique.
I would highly recommend Teppo Interiors be included in any
quotation process for interior design, remodeling and/or renovation.  Homeowners can expect to meet a true
professional who can help them with any aspect of home improvement.  Certainly, I intend to use Teppo Interiors exclusively
in the years ahead.

Grout Tile Cleaners questions, answered by experts

The first step to resealing is a thorough steam cleaning of the tile and grout. You can do this by renting a tile and grout cleaner for $80 a day. Once you’re done cleaning the floor, it’ll cost $30 to $40 per quart for sealant. Or, you can hire a pro who will charge $1 to $2 per square foot for cleaning and resealing services.

Whether or not you should seal tile grout depends entirely on the product’s specifications. Often, premixed grout does not need to be sealed, which can save you a step and help you complete the process faster. In the event that the grout you use does need to be sealed, you’ll need to wait at least 48 hours until the grout has dried completely but should do it as soon as possible after that.

Common options include hardwood, tile, and vinyl floors. Professionals tailor methods to the specific material.

Your schedule for deep cleaning will depend on how often you clean regularly and how dirty your home gets. If you clean weekly and keep things tidy, you may only need to deep clean once a year. But if you don’t keep up with regular cleaning or have pets that drag in mud and shed all over the house, you might need deep cleaning two or three times a year.

The white stains you see on your bricks are likely efflorescence, which is salt and lime buildup. To remove efflorescence stains, simply brush them away with a stiff brush. For larger, more stubborn stains, scrub the stains with a water-detergent solution.
