"We also had an awning installed, window work and down spouts replaced. Every crew that was sent was very professional, friendly and knowledgeable. Sales staff was also knowledgeable, friendly, and no hard selling. It was a very positive experience. I highly recommend them and won't hesitate to use them again."

"Friebel reviewed our needs and made some good recommendations for a paver stone walkway, and our new landscape wall using eddington stone and charcoal caps, which became a theme for our new front path and rear patio, landing, and steps off the deck. Friebel's quote were professionally prepared, and were very reasonable (compared to other larger commercial landscapers). The work was efficient and well-timed, as we had numerous other projects going on at the same time."

"River Mill had previously built our deck in 2005. The same footers were used, but  the floor was replaced with a Trex-like product. The construction is very solid and attractive. The crew worked hard and finished in good time, even with the rainy days. Communication was always prompt throughout the process. We know that Matt will always make things right if any problems arise. There have been rave reviews from a number of neighbors.

"Chuck and Zach were great. Iâ m so please with their work. They replaced top of deck railing with composite, sealed and painted everything and built new step railing to conform with Dublin City code. I was quoted on Friday, work started on Monday and finished up on Tuesday. Canâ t beat that fast turnaround. I feel that the price was very fair. Would highly recommend them. It was a pleasant experience. Two great guys."

Gazebos questions, answered by experts

Using concrete footers is the best way to secure a gazebo on a deck without drilling. The weight of the footers is more likely to hold your gazebo in place than other methods. You can also pour concrete into flower pots to create an aesthetically pleasing concrete footer or use concrete columns to make a statement.

On average, building or installing a gazebo costs around $5,700, with a typical range between $3,000 and $10,000. The final price depends on several factors, including the gazebo's size, shape, material, and design complexity. Material choice is a significant cost driver; for example, brick is often more affordable, while metal can be one of the more expensive options. Square-shaped gazebos can also be more expensive to build. Custom features, such as built-in seating or lighting, will increase the total price. You may be able to save money by purchasing a prefabricated gazebo kit or performing some of the labor yourself.

Porticos last 25 to 60 years, depending on the material used. A portico’s roof typically matches the roof of the rest of the home and can be replaced simultaneously. Portico columns have a similar life span if properly maintained and regularly sealed. In some areas, harsh weather and extreme temperatures may cause a portico to wear more quickly.

The average cost to build or install a gazebo is around $5,700, with prices typically ranging from $3,000 to $10,000. The final cost depends on several factors, including the gazebo's size, shape, material, and design complexity. For example, square gazebos and those made from metal can be more expensive, while brick is a more affordable material. Adding custom features like built-in seating or lighting will also increase the price. You can potentially save money by purchasing a prefabricated kit or performing some of the labor yourself.

Fascia and soffits differ in their location and design, but fascia vents are the most popular alternative to soffits. These are a bit more hidden than soffits, but depending on the structure of your roof, they can cost more to install and maintain. They are also installed around the entire roof, whereas soffits can be placed only where you need them or, if the aesthetics bother you, somewhere out of sight.
