"Our backyard leads to a steep ravine. Most of the flat part of the yard at the top of the ravine was covered by 750 square feet of concrete slab. We wanted to have all of the concrete removed and replaced with a grass lawn, a large natural stone patio, a stone fire pit, a drainage system, trees, planting beds, and small boulders. We got four bids for our project. Virtuoso's bid was not the highest or the lowest, but it was clearly the BEST bid. Their bid included a comprehensive scope of work, a reasonable timeline for completing the project, and a fair price for materials and labor. Rod Costa is a creative and talented landscaper. He worked with us to craft a plan that would include beautiful patio features while also addressing unseen necessities like drainage. His landscape team members are very hard working, very knowledgeable, and very nice people. Equipment and material deliveries were efficient and not disruptive. The street and driveway were hosed down at the end of each work day as needed and all tools and equipment were stowed away. Rod met with us frequently to update us on the project and answer our questions. Virtuoso Landscaping created a stunning backyard for us. The quality of their work is impeccable. They take pride in what they do and it shows. We are having a lot of fun entertaining friends and family on our new patio. Mike provided us with the best pricing of anyone we quoted and were quick to respond to any questions we had. They were able to come out in early fall so the grass had the best chance to grow. They were able to completely till the preexisting backyard area and reseed in two working days. Once the seed and straw were down, I followed his plan of watering which led to amazing results. He was very accommodating to our schedule, he showed up when he said he would, he he was professional and pleasant, and he was quite helpful in working with us to decide what to do with the yard. Jake kept excellent communication with me while we were planning the project. My work hours are crazy, so he had to do some careful time management to fit me in. He worked with my ridiculous schedule, and was able to arrange a time convenient for me. Once we settled on a plan of action, Jake took care of everything! He let me know before he was going to arrive. He showed up exactly when he said he would. He started work immediately! Throughout the project, Jake checked in with me periodically to ensure that I was satisfied with the progress, and he even took the time to offer suggestions I had not thought of to improve the landscape. He worked quickly, efficiently, and professionally. When he was done with the yard, I was at a loss of words to describe the work! I think I said "wow" about a dozen times. It doesn't even look like the same yard! His price was MORE than reasonable, and I really could not be happier with the work or with the experience.
