"Part of my front porch roof was sagging down and while I couldn't even get a phone call back from other companies AJ answered my call and actually came out to give me a quote the same day! The price was very reasonable and he was able to fix it in a brilliant way that looked great and saved me thousands of dollars having to replace the whole roof. "We had our front and back yard torn out completely, grass and bushes. Within 3 days it was transformed into a knew and BEAUTIFUL landscaping. Nick asked what we wanted but for the most part we let the professional pick for us because he saw where the sun hit through out the front and back yard and what bushes would grow best. Asphalt and tarmac are not the same thing. Traditional tarmac, short for tarmacadam, uses tar as a binder to hold crushed stone together. And these days, most surfaces referred to as “tarmac” are actually asphalt. So, while the names may overlap, the key distinction lies in the binder—tar for tarmac and bitumen for asphalt.

Driveway aprons typically range between four and seven inches thick, though your town's building codes will likely have specific requirements. Additionally, you may need to add a layer of permeable aggregate in the excavation below your paved apron to ensure proper stormwater drainage.

Asphalt driveways last anywhere from 15 to 30 years, but if you don’t stay on top of repairs, you may find yourself spending extra to replace your driveway before its typical lifespan. Stay on top of repairing cracks and potholes by routinely inspecting your driveway once or twice a year. It’s a good idea to pressure wash your asphalt driveway at least once a year to keep it clean. Apply a sealer every one to five years, based on your climate.
