Hello There, This is the owner of Tim's Home Improvement. We have been in this business for over 30 yrs. We are five employees strong including myself. I am a Hands on Contractor! Nothing gets done without my personal touch or approval period! You will deal with only me and will see me working on every job I put my name on. We are a full service company, meaning we do project from start to finish. We are not a sell you then sub the work out to God knows who company! I have been doing this since I graduated high school at 17. I spent nine years in the carpenters union and had top honors in my 4 year class. I love working with my clients and helping them with ideas that I have so much experience with. I think that is what separates me from some younger guy's who don't have as much knowledge and experience working with people. I truly love my job and helping my clients turning their dreams or needs into realities! Two of my sons are now aboard and eager to follow my lead. "We met with Leanne in April and talked about the AWR process, made our choices and, because we had already investigated other similar companies decided quickly to go with American Wood Reface. Within a couple of months Terry came out to take precise measurements and go over specific details in order that all the materials could be ordered and ready for our start date of October. The cabinets were refaced in the color White Dove; the center island was refaced in a contrasting color (sage green); a built-in desk and cabinet above were removed and replaced with a custom built pantry with a microwave cubby; two cabinets were moved six inches to accommodate a 6-burner gas range and a hood above; the dark granite was replaced with light colored Cambria quartz (Crowndale); all cabinets were extended to the ceiling to alleviate the need to clean above & crown molding added; new pulls installed on all drawers & doors; pots & pans drawers installed; LED undercabinet lighting added; subway tile backsplash installed; and a two bowl stainless sink installed. All of this was accomplished by one master carpenter, Brandon, who worked Saturdays and even one Sunday to complete the job in the projected time. He cleaned the kitchen work area each evening so that we could use it if we had needed, which we did not during the renovation. The garage work area was cleaned and all tools/saws stowed each evening so we could park in the garage. His attention to detail in all areas of the work was exemplary. The price Leanne quoted is the price we paid! We are thrilled with our new, bright kitchen!"

"Ron rewired half of our house to replace all of the old knob and tube wiring. He replaced eight ceiling light fixtures and rewired about two dozen outlets and lights. He did this without cutting hardly any holes in our drywall, minimizing patches. Instead of cutting numerous holes, he took the extra time and trouble to fish new wires from the basement and attic (which had 16" of blown insulation that he had to wade through.) When he had to do extra work, he communicated the need and the cost ahead of time. He immediately came and finished up one outdoor outlet that he had missed. He cleaned up after himself and did no unnecessary damage. All throughout, Ron was pleasant and cheerful and described everything he was planning to do in detail. His fee was very reasonable and competitive. We will certainly hire him again for future electrical work."
