House Dr. Jeff

I recently got a new tv and soundbar setup and needed help mounting it. From first contact Jeff was prompt, kind, and extremely knowledgeable! His experience is evident in both his communication and the work he does. There were a few hurdles encountered during the mounting process, such as my fireplace being made of brick and the mounts themselves being a bit confusing, but Jeff handled them all the like pro he is- no problemo! He even made a trip to the hardware store when he realized he needed a different piece. All around a wonderful experience with a true professional. I highly recommend his services to anyone looking for someone that will do the job right the first time. Thank you Jeff!!!

Dr. Jeff installed two ceiling fans in our home. He is very professional and knowledgeable about his craft especially since we have a much older home. I appreciate his easy-going manner. Well, definitely seek to rehire for our next project.

Jeff did a great job with our outlet installation. Price is what was quoted; Jeff was very open and honest about what was needed It wasn't an easy one since he had to drill through block and come up with a way to run another port outside. We couldn't be happier. The job was professional and Jeff went out of his way to make sure everything was right. We also had him look at our bathroom fan since it was running loud and rattled. Turns out all that was needed was a thorough cleaning which Jeff took care of. He could have replaced the fan but there was no need; Jeff was honest in his evaluation and did the cleaning without cost. We would highly recommend Jeff to anyone who needs work done on their home. We moved in only a week ago so I'm sure other things will come up with that we will need addressed; we have no reservations about calling on Jeff again. Great work!

I needed to replace my dishwasher that failed with a new one. Existing dishwasher was hardwired and installation services will not connect the new dishwasher if it is hardwired. I needed a quick turnaround for installation of new power outlet. Not only did Jeff come out within 4 hours of the initial call, he trouble shot another electrical issue for me and will be coming back when his schedule permits to make this repair also. Quality work for a good price. I would highly recommend Jeff !!!

Wow...just an overall, positive experience with Jeff. Not only was he timely in responding to my initial request, but he was able to give me an estimate based on pics of the exhaust fan being replaced. We agreed on a day/time for the repair and again, he was right on time. Given my HORRIBLE history with general contractors I've found on "reputable" sites, I must admit that Jeff's professionalism, warm personality, punctuality and expertise were a welcomed surprise. Additionally, he completed the job (and a deck light installation) in less than an hour! I will DEFINITELY be using this House Dr. for my other home projects and would recommend him to anyone looking for fairly-priced, quality work!

Jeff did a great job, changing several sconces into outlets and adding an outlet to a wall. He was quick to respond and the work was efficient and pricing more than fair. Will have him back for any electric work and to help with mounting tv’s!

I would give zero stars if I could. My experience with House Dr. Jeff was nothing short of appalling, unprofessional, and frankly, harassing. The job, which should have been straightforward, dragged on for six days. When he finally sent the invoice—late Thursday night—it was $1,000 over the amount I expected. He followed up the very next morning; however, I was scheduled for major surgery that day. Once I had access to my phone, I replied from my hospital bed, letting him know I’d review the charges once I was able. I asked for a breakdown of the charges and a revised invoice, as anyone would when being billed significantly more than expected. He ignored my request and on Monday started bombarding me with aggressive, disrespectful, and increasingly hostile messages demanding payment. I didn't refuse payment, I was just waiting for the correct invoice to be sent. Instead of responding professionally, he escalated the harassment, sending messages at 2am while continuing to berate me. When he finally sent the corrected invoice - which I paid within 24 hours - he also sent a barrage of vile messages, accusing me of faking my surgery and deliberately avoiding payment. The level of hostility was not only unjustified, it was disgusting. This was the most unprofessional correspondence I have ever had with any service provider. His behavior was predatory and misogynistic. If the harassment continues, I will not hesitate to pursue legal action or a restraining order. Do yourself a favor and hire literally anyone else. Jeff’s conduct was not only unethical - it was unhinged!

After I contacted him about installing outdoor light fixtures, he scheduled my project for the following week. He is efficient, knowledgeable, and friendly. His price was very reasonable, he did a great job, & cleaned up afterwards. I highly recommend him & would definitely hire him again for any future projects I might have.

House Dr. Jeff is a lifesaver!!! After discovering that a contractor made an error in his wiring, I called Jeff to assess the situation. He answered right away and came out same day. Not only did he discover the cause of this life- threatening mistake, but he found a serious error made in the wiring of another electrician who will be held accountable for that repair. House Dr Jeff corrected the wiring to the outlet for which I called him, making my home safe again and restoring my peace of mind! He is a contractor you can trust, that is knowledgeable, responsive, and affordable! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

Jeff called me right away. I had other electricians willing to do the work, but none willing to climb the ladder to my roof where the problem existed. He looked at the problem, formulated a corrective action, and returned the next day to complete the job. One of the best things about Jeff is that he made himself immediately available, as opposed to "we can be there on Monday next week," he showed up when he said he would, and called to keep me informed. 5 stars. I'd hire him again!

Very timely. Friendly. Work and cleanup was above expectations. Estimate for work was a bit more than we actually paid. Honestly is also important. This project was an installation of a ceiling fan with lights. Thanks to Dr Jeff for job well done.

In less than two hours, Jeff had replaced two ceiling fans, and repaired a third, in our bedrooms. He was very friendly and comfortable to work with… and most importantly, very knowledgeable about his work. We have several improvement projects that we’re going to be doing around our home over the next year, and I look forward to working with Jeff again!
