"This one-star rating is generous! We are seven weeks into a four-day job at our house! The have been back three times to finish the job and it is still not done. My back yard is a mud pit! I have been informed by the "office" that it will take two more weeks before I can be put on the schedule for a crew to come back. The crew is working from their Lancaster office, and the managers won't return phone calls and are hiding behind the receptionist. I work just a few miles from their Lexington office, so I decided to pop in and talk to a different person only to find out that there is no staff in this office. The website for the Lexington office has a picture of the building and posted hours of 9 am to 6 pm, but it is just a building with mailboxes and a few shared meeting rooms used by several companies. Customer service is absolutely horrible. Think twice before hiring USS!"

The curing time for troweled concrete depends on different factors. The type of concrete mix used in the project can impact the time it takes for the concrete to cure, and climate conditions such as moisture and humidity can as well. It can take several days to a few weeks for concrete to fully cure, depending on the concrete mix.

A paver patio will add more value than a concrete patio. Pavers are a more commonly preferred option from an aesthetic and longevity point of view, so most buyers will be willing to pay more for a paver patio than they would for a concrete one. Test your concrete every two years to gauge how it responds to absorbing water or if it fully repels it for longer than 20 seconds.

If you’re looking to pour concrete over a smaller area, you may be able to pay per cubic foot of concrete, which would make the overall cost less expensive. It’s also possible to pay for a truckload of concrete, if your project calls for it.
