It's been 9 months and no one will return my calls nor have they come to fix what they damaged! They ruined my lawn and never came back to replace the soil they dug up! They ruined my basement floor and I had to replace my entire floor! They said they would be out to test the sump pump and drains that were installed, again, it's been 9 months and no one has followed up with me! Most homeowner’s insurance policies will cover the cost of slab leak repair that results from a natural disaster, like an earthquake or a severe flood, or from a tree falling on your home. Damage from frozen pipes in your slab is also typically covered. However, your policy is unlikely to cover the repair if an invading tree root causes the damage or if it’s a pinhole leak that results from corrosion. You should contact your insurance provider for a full run-down of what they cover.

It depends on the bank and the extent of the issue. Some banks will lend against homes with minor foundation damage, but most won’t if the issue is structural since the home acts as collateral for the mortgage.
