"Five Star Painting was just that, 5 star from start to finish! We could not be happier with the experience of get our home painted. The owner Aaron was wonderful. Very personable and professional. From the moment he gave us our estimate until the time we signed the contract with him he communicated all the details of the project. We had gotten a few other estimates, but in the end we went with Aaron. He was by far the best price and was able to start and finish the job the very week we gave the go ahead to do the job. The workers were timely, efficient, fast and cleaned up each day that they were there. The finished product turned out amazing. Aaron came each day to check out the project and talk to us about any issues to make sure we were pleased with the outcome. We would definitely recommend Five Star Painting to anyone in need of a painting project."

"The results are excellent. Both rooms look great with the outdated wallpaper removed and fresh colors applied. Considering both rooms are small, I thought the cost was pricey, but admit that I didn't get a second estimate. The hallway was an easier job, both in paper removal and painting. The bathroom was more difficult, that paper had been up for 25 years and was very stubborn. So, I couldn't have done the job myself, the results are great, and I'm glad I chose these painters."

"These guys were, as the name implies, SPOT-ON. They were very courteous and professional. They explained the needed repairs to me and got right to work. This is my parents' home, so, it was important that they left it without any further worries for them. JOB WELL DONE."

Wallpaper Removal questions, answered by experts

The simple nature of peel and stick wallpaper means it should come off much more easily than traditional wallpaper that is glued to your walls. You’ll still want to work slowly and carefully to avoid tearing it, but most peel and stick wallpaper should come off without a chemical agent to loosen it.

White walls are considered a classic and timeless look and will most likely always be in style. A white wall easily blends into any type of home decor style which makes it a suitable option for most homeowners. Another appealing quality about white walls is that if it's not a color someone is going for, the color is easy to paint over.

Professionals handle heavy lifting, proper disposal, and recycling, reducing environmental impact.

Wallpaper lasts an average of around 15 years, but there is some variance. The type of wallpaper matters, as vinyl wallpaper tends to last the longest—sometimes 20 years or more—while a peel-and-stick wallpaper, which is the easiest to install for DIYers, will usually only last for around five years. Exposure to high humidity, smoke, and UV rays from sunlight can also limit the lifespan of your wallpaper, as can heavy traffic in the installation area.

When comparing peel-and-stick and traditional wallpaper, the better choice depends on your specific needs and space. Peel-and-stick wallpaper is more budget-friendly and easier to DIY install. On the other hand, traditional wallpaper lasts much longer and holds up better in a wider variety of spaces, including areas with moisture like kitchens and bathrooms.
