"Price was by far the best price in the area. The crew was great to deal with and went above and beyond (even cleaned the gutters and fixed some shingles "since we are up there anyway". They worked around a tough schedule with weather and fit in as much time as they could each day and still made it in the quoted deadline with several days of rain. Palmers drywall and paining is the prime example of why people should use smaller local companies with around the house projects and not have to worry about being out priced. "Steve responded to my purchase within a few days and quickly set up a time for the estimate. Although the cost was more than I expected, as I mentioned before, this would have been a challenging task for me to do. In addition to what I wanted done, I added having the ceiling painted. Steve was able to schedule when I had time off rather than when he originally offered. The day the work was done, the crew of three showed up promptly and got right to work. They covered everything with drop cloths and did a thorough job cleaning up after they were finished on the second day. The paper was removed, the drywall was repaired where needed, the ceiling was painted, and two coats of paint were applied to the walls. All outlet covers put back and the vertical blinds were rehung. I am very pleased with the end result."

"The contractor came , gave the estimate and started the work a week later. They started the demolition of the exsisting rooms which was very messy because they both had blown insulation in the ceilings. All debri was quickly removed from the site and we where amazed that they had the shell up for the addition within in the first week and a half. Construction of the two rooms went smoothly even though we changed our minds on many aspects on what should be done as the project went on. One main thing was to have a cathedral ceiling in both rooms and a sky light in the bathroom. Every thing we changed was met with " yes we can do that , no problem" and many extras where not even charged for. The wait for the drywall seemed to take long to my wife but that was because they did three layers of drywall mud (instead of 2) which had to dry a day in between each application. The contractor even came by himself on weekends to take care of loose ends to keep the job on schedule. The whole job took five weeks. We are very happy with the work that was done and the way he executed it. He had done a great job on a laundry room for us the previous year and that is why we had him back. We have also refered him to our friends."
