I can describe my entire experience with Wheeling Heating
and Plumbing from the original phone call to the final clean up in one word,
AWESUME.  Dan Cook, the owner, came to my
home within the hour for my request for a proposal to replace my central air conditioning.  He took a personal interest in my needs and
recommended the best course of action. 
The price he quoted was lower than others I received.  I gave him the job on the spot.  He and his crew arrived, as scheduled, two
days later for the installation.  He
insured his crew had a good understanding of some special request I had.  These included the installation of an electrical
connection to be used for attaching an emergency generator and to install a 5??
cap on a pipe not in use.  These things
were included enthusiastically without any additional charge.  I also requested a winter cover for the
outside unit.  He promised to have one
shipped to me.  As promised, the cover
arrived today.  The two men he left to
complete the installation where professional and skilled in their work.  The job was completed without any issues and
the clean up was perfect.  I would highly
recommend this company for any heating or air conditioning needs you might
have.

Make sure to remind them of all the work included in the initial conversation. We were told they could put the duct work for the range fan and run the gas lines for the gas logs and stove. The first week the install went smoothly. The second week the work came to an almost stand still. Showed up on Thursday for a few hours. Third week was almost the same. This is when I had to remind them of the other work we had discussed. I was told this is their busy season and they would be back to finish. They had to be prodded to finished the job. Finally I told them the drywall was being installed and any remaining work needed to be done. Work was completed in 2 days. The communication with Dan was pretty good via email. All in all they did a good job and I would recommend them for heating installation. I do have 1 pet peeve. All along the basement I kept stepping on these little silver
screws. I would pick up at least a dozen or more everytime they showed up.

They prepared and submitted the best estimate to replace a 24 year old AC unit. The estimate was the most competitive. Provided us with a lot of information that helped in our decision process.They completely honored our scheduling requirements in every respect. The workmanship was excellent and they hauled away all of the old equipment and cleaned up the worksite in a very satisfactory manner. We were very pleased.
