Small jobs welcome

"I hired Loja Renovations to assembly a number of furniture I bought online that was very difficult to put together. They came and quickly assembled them with ease. They're very skilled and efficient. Apart from the reasonable cost, I was particularly impressed with their professionalism, their show of care for the customer and their respectful attitude. I definitely plan to use them again."

"Harvey and his men arrived promptly, installed an exterior patio door handle, plant brackets, and a wall shelf; hung pictures a mirror, and drapes; Cleared a clogged sink; moved books and an old tv; repaired a table drawer, wooden doors that didn’t fit their frames, and the drop leaf of a wooden table; and tightened door locks and door handles. Harvey and his men worked clean, were friendly and polite, and finished earlier than expected. And Harvey gave me thoughtful, intelligent advice about solving various items on my punch list. A real pleasure to work with, all at a reasonable price."

Pool Table Assembly questions, answered by experts

Over time, your pool shell and concrete decking will require pool construction and installation repairs due to Staten Island freeze-thaw cycles causing cracks and surface spalling. Coastal salt air accelerates corrosion on metal hardware, while humid conditions quickly deteriorate wood fencing. You must also update older electrical systems and plumbing connections to maintain strict safety and drainage compliance.

Helpful?

Start your pool construction and installation planning by securing required building permits and verifying local zoning setbacks. Check flood zone maps and arrange for underground utility marking before any digging begins. Account for a permit approval timeline of four to twelve weeks. Since NY contractors book months in advance, schedule your project early to ensure a smooth timeline.

Helpful?

Start your initial pool and spa service by verifying that your fencing meets local safety codes. Inspect the plumbing and equipment for freeze damage, which occurs during cold Staten Island winters. Test the water to establish a chemical baseline, and check the pump and heater for salt air corrosion. Hire a local professional to inspect your spa wiring to ensure a safe electrical connection.

Helpful?

Address urgent pool construction and installation needs immediately if you notice structural cracking, drainage issues in flood-prone Staten Island areas, or safety hazards like broken fencing. These problems worsen during winter freeze-thaw cycles. You can delay cosmetic resurfacing and landscaping until the off-season. Plan major projects for fall or early spring when ground conditions are highly workable.

Helpful?

Prioritize urgent pool and spa service for safety hazards like broken fences, active water leaks, and spa electrical issues. Repair freeze-damaged pipes immediately to prevent severe structural failure. You can schedule cosmetic updates, such as plaster resurfacing or non-structural deck repairs, during the off-season. Plan liner replacements and equipment upgrades for the early spring before Staten Island professionals become fully booked for the summer.
