2016-2020 Super Service Winners! Owner Duane Carr has worked in the HVAC industry since graduating from Thaddeus Stevens State College of Technology in 1997. Duane started Prime Heating and Air Conditioning to provide Syracuse and the CNY Region with a local, independently owned HVAC company that earns the trust of its customers by doing quality work at reasonable prices. "I called and my timing must have been perfect. 2 technicians showed up 30 minutes later. They put on shoe covers which I appreciate. They opened up the unit and checked the flame and spark. That must have been enough since the unit started working. They checked to make sure the propane was flowing and cleaned the condensation pan. Within 30 minutes after arriving, they were done. I plan to have them come back in a couple of months to maintain the ductless splits for this summer. What they charge for the service is very reasonable given that I had contacted a competitor and received a quote that more than 2x what I paid."

He did our furnace in one day but after we gave him the check, he is no way to be reached, He promised to give receipt after the service but never hears from him. We called for the questions many times, never return the call. Not recommend if you want a good after service project."

"Needed a digital switch installed. They did not have the switch when arrived. They put in a temporary until the correct one arrived which was a week and a half later. The 2 men were very nice and the job was done correctly. The 2 visits combined were only a total of 40 minutes. I was very disappointed when they handed me the bill for 612. Dollars. After calling other electricians, the job after the fact , the job should have been no more than 350.00 . If you should use them, get a price up front."
