We our an insulation company is focused on improving existing homes or newinsulating new homes with all types of insulation spray foam cellulose and fiberglass products. All work is performed in house no subcontracting. Joel owner bids jobs as well as install the jobs as well.

"There were two crews working at the same time.  The insulation crew headed by Jim worked outside for three days in the extreme heat, the 2nd day hitting a temp of 101.  They insulated  inside and out and you would never know they were here.  They cleaned up every last scrap and vacuumed all the residue.  They were efficient, professional and  personable to work with.    The HVAC crew, Mike and Frank had to remove my cast iron furnace that the previous owners had set in cement; (the guys said it looked like the furnace was put in and the house was built around it!)  It was quite a job getting that out of my basement but, they did it!. They were also very professional, friendly and answered all my questions with courtesey and information I could understand.  They even programmed my thermostat and explained how I could change it if needed.    I now have a high efficiency heating and air con system that should decrease my energy bills to a third of what I was paying and I won't have to freeze this winter.    I would highly recommend Green Homes and will call on them again when I am ready to replace my old windows."

"Roberto was the technician and he was very professional, polite, and personable. He inspected the rest of our system and told us things that needed to be changed or repaired. He showed me pictures of everything. Everything he told me about was accurate. He quoted me a price for R38 insulation , Some of our ducts were plastic and he recommended them to be changed. I agreed completely and didn't know they were plastic. I would have had them done the work but I had no price comparisons to make and besides I didn't have the money right then. So he just finished the vent cleaning and left his card. He did a great job on the vent cleaning and was happy with the work."

The crew removed a roof sheathing panel and allowed me to do work inside attic as agreed. A crew member even helped to finish insulating in attic.
When house as initially constructed (1992 - 93) it was not wrapped in TYVEK. But, after removing old clapboard and discovering this, the G&I work crew, rather than place TYVEK underneath new cedar clapboard, crew just installed tar paper on sheathing, then put clapboard on this.
Also, the job was a bit pricey.
