"The service was very quick to completion, lasting maybe a day. The owner and some of the crew did have to return twice to clean up roofing nails in the yard due as we have two dogs and one ended up with a nail in his leg while we were playing. The owner was very apologetic and covered the vet visit via a reduction in the cost of the roofing service. The roof looks great and the owner, Paulo, was very professional, nice, and dedicated to customer service."

"They did an excellent Job 1 day job replacing my roof, installing a rubber part on my roof and re-pointing my chimney. They are extremely professional, they ensured that all the debris ensuring all the nails and residuals were cleaned up around the house. I highly recommend them for any roofing job you may have. Michael's crew came in 1 day (between 8am till around 6:30) replaced the roof cleaned up and did a wonderful job."

Asphalt roofs provide better insulation than metal roofs, but that doesn’t always mean that asphalt roofs are better for reducing heating and cooling bills. The most common defect in a flat roof is leaking. Flat roofs have minimal slope, so water pools more readily on a flat roof than on a sloped roof, and the risk of the waterproof membrane failing increases with exposure. Tears and punctures from foot traffic and blown debris are other common problems, especially with single-ply roofing membranes like TPO and EPDM roofs.

Building code allows 24-inch on-center spacing for roof trusses. However, you can install them on 12- or 16-inch centers to handle large loads or other exceptional circumstances. In cases such as covering a wide span or supporting alternative roofing materials, where a structural engineer needs to evaluate or create a design for your trusses, the plans will indicate the spacing. 

Underlayment exists under your tile roof. It helps protect your home by acting as a secondary water barrier. Often, when roof tiles fall off, underlayment that's in good condition can temporarily keep water from getting into the home. However, immediate replacement of missing tiles is crucial to avoid additional roof damage. 

You only need to replace a roof before moving if it’s extremely old or has more than just a couple minor damages. For instance, leaks, uplifted shingles, or obvious holes are issues no one wants to deal with right when they move in, and will automatically repel potential buyers that might have otherwise been interested.
