"After getting quotes from three major glass shower door installers, I decided to take a chance and go with Diego and I'm so glad I did! Diego did a great job installing a high quality, tempered glass door in our master bathroom that is a bit "tricky." More importantly, his price was well below the competition! Diego was also very professional, showed up on time, and answered all of my questions. Thank you, Diego!"

"Jireh was able to rebuild my window, custom carpentry to replace a piece of the 8 pane, 70 yr old wooden window. Significant difference between repair cost and replacing the window with new. Job was quoted and scheduled correctly, no delays or addl costs. I would work with Jireh on any carpentry needs in the future."

"They are a little more expensive than other window installers but they did an amazing job. They installed all the windows in our home in a day, put all the window shades and furniture back in order, and cleaned everything up before they left. One of the screens had a cut on it and the installer fixed it immediately on site. Worth every penny. The person that did the estimate was very professional and not pushy. Great experience overall. The end result looks wonderful. A true pleasure to work with."

"Lou and James are great. Took great care with each element of the remodel, offered great suggestions and were really easy to work with. Reliable and knowledgeable, already coming up with a new list of things I want them to do. My bathroom looks fabulous, and they accomplished everything with the timing they said it would take and the cost."

"Punctual, great follow-up and service. Recomended an inexpensive fix vs a total redo and it seems to be holding up. Another supplier recomended replaceing the entire skylight saying it was faulty and worn. Glad I gave Brian a chance."

Glaziers questions, answered by experts

Options include tempered, laminated, and tinted glass for various needs.

You should dust your mirrors once every one to two weeks as a part of your normal cleaning routine, and you should plan on cleaning with a glass cleaner or DIY cleaning solution once a month or so. This will help reduce the buildup of hygiene products like hair spray on the mirror, as well as oils and dirt from fingers. You can always spot-clean between regular cleanings if you notice your mirror getting dirty or smudged.

Glass tile can cost as much as or more than other durable tile types. When choosing the right tile for you, knowing the advantages and disadvantages of each can help you make an informed decision. The pros and cons of glass tile include:

Pros

  • Light-reflecting to add brightness

  • Waterproof and mold-resistant

  • Made from recyclable materials

Cons

  • High cost compared to similar and more durable materials

  • Usually requires professional installation

  • More easily scratched compared to materials like ceramic and porcelain

The best way to transport wine glasses is to pack them upright in a divided, padded box designed specifically for stemware. First, wrap each glass individually with bubble wrap or packing paper, ensuring both the bowl and the delicate stem are cushioned. If you don't have a divided box, you can still pack them safely. After wrapping each glass and securing the material with tape, place them upright in a sturdy box. Layer soft items like dish towels, crumpled paper, or clothing between the glasses to prevent them from touching. Fill any remaining gaps with additional padding to keep the glasses snug and prevent shifting. Finally, clearly label the box as “FRAGILE GLASSWARE” or “FRAGILE–HANDLE WITH CARE” to ensure careful handling.

While finding your mirror cracked can be spooky, there are actually many logical and common reasons why this happens. First, the mirror may have been mounted unevenly in the first place. Over time, poor mounting leads to stress points that will eventually cause a mirror to crack. Other common causes of a mirror spontaneously cracking include dramatic temperature shifts, strong thunder or a loud crash somewhere in the distance, exposure to heat and sunlight, and an uneven wall in your home. It's also possible that your mirror had a manufacturing defect or microscopic cracks that occurred during glass cutting or handling that eventually caused it to shatter.
