They did a CIPP pipe lining job for me. Very responsive- called right away, came to inspect quickly. Price was competitive. The work was done in a timely fashion. They were pleasant to deal with.

Excellent all around. Sam is a true professional and a very nice, honest fellow. He gives it to you straight and the price is quoted with no hidden charges. The work he and his crew did was excellent, he explains everything clearly, notifies you every time he's on his way, arrives when he says he will, and he's an expert at sewer/septic piping/plumbing systems. This was an expensive major repair, but I was happy to pay for excellent work as a homeowner.

excellent. sam was professional and courteous and he communicated everything very well, from what was needed, what my options were and their pros and cons, he was respectful of my budget and found ways to cut costs. and importantly in these times, he was careful to do the work while respecting the need to keep his distance.

The cleaning job was done using a Picote machine. The Picote machine seems better than snaking: it seems gentler compared to a snake; the cleaning job was guided by the camera; the finished job was examined via camera too. Highly recommend!

I called and sent pictures to get an estimate over the phone. They showed up later the same day when and the clog was found and cleared immediately. Then the section of old pipe was replaced. All in all, very satisfied.

A few nights before Thanksgiving, we noticed water leaking through a crack in the basement foundation. We quickly realized (because of the smell) that this was not rain run off but some kind of trouble with our sewer line. We managed to cope till Thanksgiving Dinner was over, then we looked on Angie's List for a plumber. I called Topnotch on Thanksgiving evening - I wasn't expecting someone to come right out, but hoped to make an appointment for the next day. Sam answered the phone and apologized that he was not available till Monday, but offered to recommend someone else. We decided to wait and he came out Monday, discovered a clog in the drain, cleared it and then put a camera in the drain and discovered a crack in the sewer line about 6 feet from the house. That was the source of the leakage through the foundation. He recommended inserting a liner which would have been about $2000 cheaper than digging up the pipe section. We scheduled the work, he arrived with his team and as they were inserting the liner, it became obvious that not only was the pipe cracked, but also separated and the offset of the separation prevented the liner from going in. He offered an alternative liner that might have reduced the pipe width and risked future clogs or the option of digging it up. We decided to dig it up. The work was completed a few weeks later. Sam kept us well informed throughout and the work was performed relatively neatly (its kind of tough to do this kind of work pristinely). After filling in the drain access ditch and patching the concrete covering it, he had some cement left over and volunteered to patch with it an unrelated part of our driveway. Nice touch. We didn't get alternate estimates, so I can't opine on the cost, but based on web browsing, the pricing was competitive. We are satisfied and would recommend Topnotch to others.

This is the best experience I had with plumbers so far. Owner Sam is very polite and pleasant to work with. Communication before the appointment was super smooth. Onsite job was done cleanly and efficiently, he even did a camera inspection for me. The was a small clog in the end. After he cleaned it up, he suggested me to buy the tool (an auger) so that I can even clean up myself in the future. Going forward, Top Notch will be my go to company for everything related to plumbing.

I found Sam because my old 4” cast iron soil pipe started leaking into my kitchen. It was a huge, ugly vertical crack and could have been a major hassle to replace. Sam returned my call right away and came out promptly to inspect the damage. He assured me he could line the pipe without invasive demolition. He explained to me exactly how it would be repaired and what to expect the day of the repair and the day after. Sam and his team were courteous, professional and treated me and my home with respect. They completed the pipe lining exactly as described without any extra charges over the quoted price. This was a big ugly job and the nature of it meant that I was pretty much at the mercy of whoever I hired, as the work had to be completed right away. I would hire Sam and his team again in a heartbeat. I’ve never been so pleased to give someone my money! It was definitely money well spent. I recommend Sam without any hesitation.

Sam was professional, knowledgeable and friendly. When called I was able to schedule an appointment for the same day. I highly recommend this company.

When we explained the issue to them and showed them the drains they insisted that we stop using draino and similar acid products and it would be a waste of money to open the drains as we could do so ourselves with the purchase of enzymatic product and use plastic snakes plus a dry vacuum machine to perform routine maintenance as well. We thought it was extremely kind that there was no charge for the house call (or advice)!
