"We were very pleased with the job that Sam and Mike did on raising and stabilizing our pool pump house. Very professional and easy to talk with when voicing any concerns we had about the process. Having had such a good experience, we would most likely contact Adirondack Basement Systems if we have any further issues with sinking concrete. We rate them a 5+ for service and professionalism."
"The crew arrived on the planned date and worked diligently. They were knowledgeable about the issues of an old house and knew exactly what they were doing. They had to carry out the debris (concrete and dirt), and bring in the material and equipment by hand. They were careful to partition off the part of the basement where they worked and keep dust and dirt from going out of the work area. The crew did a great job in making sure the work sites were cleaned up and everything was done right. A truck had to come back 2 days later to finish up the river rock in the outside trench, as they had run out of material. The yard, considering how difficult it was to dig the trench away from the house, was in very good shape. There were tree roots ans shale that made things difficult and required a jackhammer at times. It was a difficult and messy job that they did wonderfully, inside and outside. I have been very pleased with the work and there has been no problems with water or excessive dampness in the basement."

Concrete Mudjacking questions, answered by experts
The method involves lifting settled concrete using pressurized cement slurry via drilled holes. This solves uneven surfaces and prevents further settling.
It’s best not to perform mudjacking in the winter unless the ground temperature remains above freezing. Freezing temperatures can cause the slurry to harden too quickly, compromising its strength and longevity. Concrete is also more susceptible to cracking and splitting in cold temperatures, so there’s a higher risk of damaging the slab during the drilling and lifting process in winter.
It restores concrete, prevents replacement cost disruptions, reduces trip hazards, and provides stability at a lower cost.
The timeframe is generally a few hours, allowing for immediate use post-hydration, ensuring minimal disruption to surrounding activities.
Most houses are expected to settle over time, but foundation sinking of more than a few inches or uneven sinking of more than an inch for every 20 feet is cause for concern. Any significant or uneven sinking should be assessed by a professional to determine the cause and perform any necessary repairs.
