"I had Countywide Paving pave my driveway, and unfortunately, the experience has been nothing short of a nightmare. The craftsmanship was laughable. It was evident that little care or attention to detail was put into the job. Not only did this compromise the aesthetic appeal of my property, but it also raised concerns about the longevity and durability of the driveway. After two years, the sides of the driveway began to crumble and fall apart. Large cracks began to form near the middle and pieces of the driveway have since come off. I reached out to Brian for help, because he guaranteed that the driveway would be under warranty for 5 years. Brian initially responded and told me he would fix the driveway, no problem. He took down my information and said that he would get right back to me. Well that was over a year ago. My calls went unanswered, and text messages ignored. It has been incredibly frustrating to be left in the dark, especially considering the substantial investment I made in their services. Overall, my experience with Countywide Paving was deeply disappointing. Their lack of professionalism, coupled with subpar workmanship and poor communication, left me feeling cheated and dissatisfied. Most states and municipalities don’t require concrete mudjacking companies to carry a specific license, but they usually need to have a general contractor’s license, and they should be fully insured. The only exception is if the mudjacking company provides foundation repairs as well, or if it offers mudjacking for home foundations. In that case, they will typically need a foundation repair contractor’s license. There is no real alternative to underpinning, although mudjacking and polyjacking are other repair methods that can add support from underneath your foundation. Rather than placing supportive piers under your structure, these involve pumping a material under your slab to lift a sunken section back into its original position. Polyjacking, in particular, is sometimes a suitable solution for stabilization issues under slab foundations, but underpinning is often accepted as the best and most permanent solution.

Most projects take 1-3 hours, with immediate usability after completion.

Polyjacking can be a permanent solution to sunken concrete if you also address the underlying issue—like poor drainage—at the same time. The polyurethane material itself can last as long as or even outlast the concrete you’re lifting it with. Your sunken concrete issue will likely return if you don’t couple polyjacking with proper drainage to prevent future soil movement and sinking.

It restores concrete, prevents replacement cost disruptions, reduces trip hazards, and provides stability at a lower cost.
