Angelo Concrete

Contracted Angelo Concrete in September 2021 remove and repour cement floor in garage. Work was never completed and floor is left unlevel and unfinished. Owner agreed he would return to apply an epoxy self leveling topcoat to resolve. To date has not completed this despite multiple outreach attempts using phone and email. Homeowner now needs to hire another cement contractor to fix garage floor. Homeowner contacted a company that would provide the epoxy floor fix that Angelo concrete said they would do, and was told that this would not fix the problem, hence the floor needs to be completely redone. Contracted Angelo Concrete in September 2021 to remove and repour new cement driveway. Work completed, but multiple large cracks spanning the entire width have developed beginning in the winter and continue to today. Owner was contacted multiple times about this via phone and email and no response has been given for a solution. Homeowner now needs to hire another contractor to repair large cracks and correctly saw cut expansion joints to prevent further cracking. This was not done correctly by Angelo concrete. Contracted Angelo Concrete in September 2021 to remove and repour cement staircase to front door. New cement staircase was placed not in alignment with door and is not centered. No explanation was given on why this mistake happened. Contracted Angelo Concrete in September 2021 to remove and repour cement sidewalk. Work completed but owner requested additional $2,040.00 outside of agreed upon signed contract to complete work without a new written contract drafted, as such breaching Angelo concrete's own contract terms. We have been trying to contact Angelo concrete for several months now with no success. A certified letter was mailed, but returned as the address contact information for the company was incomplete (had no unit or apartment number). The phone number also does not appear to be working anymore either.

I hired Angelo’s Concrete, paid half the charge up front. There was delay of about 6 weeks from tear out of old sidewalk, owner asked me to pay second half, I refused but was convinced to pay for concrete. There was another month or more delay, I called many times. Finally concrete was poured in the rain and the finish was ruined. The job was not completed: cement was not scored, site was not cleaned up, rebar is sticking out of ground, can’t use front entrance to house because it is unsafe, backfill river rock was not spread out. Many attempts to arrange for Angelo Concrete to finish the job, he has made many promises but no action. Currently he refuses to take my calls.
