We went over my idea, tossed a few others around, and came back to the original. The one mistake I made was not in reading the contract carefully, as sealing the porch was not included. The construction proceeded smoothly. The lighted steps were just what I had envisioned. Nick went "the extra mile" by not only applying the stone work around the new porch and garage foundation, but also to the remainder of the rest of the front.
