Ductwork will occasionally make noise as the metal experiences rapid temperature or air pressure changes. However, quite a bit of dust and debris inside the ducts wouldn’t restrict airflow enough that you could feel it. As a first option, try changing the furnace filter to improve airflow.

It isn’t a good idea to never clean your ducts. Most appliances have filters for a reason—to clean the air—and over time, they lose their effectiveness.
