"I reached out to Muddy Driveways and Paving a few weeks back to get an estimate for paving my driveway. Previously the driveway was a combo of dirt, stone, grass and mud. The first thing that impressed me was Zack actually picked up the phone when I called. He came out the next day to give me an estimate. I had 4 other pavers give me estimates before Zack and he was by far the most detailed in his measurements and explained every in and out of the project. He spent at least an hour with me going over everything and consistently gave me real answers. He doesn't tell you only what you want to hear, he gives you the real deal and explains any possible hiccups that could occur. I booked the job a couple days later and my driveway was paved about 20 days after. Throughout the process communication was excellent. I knew when stone was getting delivered, equipment was being dropped off and when prep and paving would be completed. Zack and Jim were on site for the entire process. They have a great dynamic and work so well together. On prep day they walked me through everything, explained what they were doing and why, spray painted the outline of the driveway and asked me for my input. They stoned, graded and rolled on a Tuesday, and paved on Thursday. On paving day Zack and Jim did what they do best and produced a beautiful driveway. They communicated the entire time and asked me multiple times throughout the day if everything looked good and if I was happy. They took my requests and input seriously and did a phenomenal job. At the end of the day they cleaned up everything explained all of the do's and dont's of a new driveway. Money well spent is the best way to describe my new driveway. Do not hesitate to hire Zack and Jim to do your driveway. They will not disappoint."

"Keegan showed up for the initial view and listened to what I was looking for. Provided estimate in couple of days and we agreed upon the job. I wanted a flowerbed with plants that didn't require much tending, also a minimalistic look. The only requirement was to save some irises that my mom planted for me. Keegan and his associate Eddie cleaned up everything and prepared the flower bed for planting. They brought exactly what I wanted, various colorful grasses and lavender plants. They also restored two containers that were overgrown with weeds and when they cleaned them up, they planted bright yellow mums in them. They now rim the path to the house and make a marvelous point of entrance. Keegan also asked if I wanted a mulch or small pebble cover. I was intrigued by that as it brought to mind a Japanese simple gravel gardens and I agreed. The guys finished (took them two days for everything) and the front of the house looks marvelous now. They also cleaned up the small trees and the wild bush and bagged everything in recyclable paper bags. I found both men very friendly, kind and respectful. As a lone woman dealing with everything on my own, I felt very comfortable with both of them and I would recommend their services, especially to lone women who need this kind of help and are concerned about being taken advantage of. There is no fear of that happening."

"We have a VERY long driveway and it has been gravel (barely) for the decade or so that we've owned the house. Started getting quotes for paving it, and was shocked that they were coming in at $3 per square foot (as a previous reviewer noted). From research, I knew it should be $2/sf, so we kept looking. Saw a beautiful newly-paved driveway nearby. That homeowner put us in touch with Rich Stanley, the third generation owner of this paving company. Rich came in at the right price and with a great can-do attitude. Took almost two full days to complete, but it is a work of great beauty. Smooth, wide, level -- our drive now looks like a gorgeous country lane. It was worth the wait to find the right company.  
Another reviewer was unhappy that Rich did not honor the 5% advertised discount. 5% of our bill would have been a lot of money, and since he was already giving us such a fair deal I didn't request that. What I did request was a couple of extras... a rounded turnaround instead of square.. a special "parking pad" for the trash cans... and another slight turnaround area to the side. Rich and crew happily accommodated.  A+ service.  Can't recommend them highly enough.

"Alex and his team were absolutely fantastic! This was the second time I used them in the past year and they did not disappoint. I hired them to remove stone veneer around my foundation that was falling off due to poor workmanship from a prior contractor and then install new stone, as well as install bluestone on my front stoop. They were extremely professional and meticulous in completing the work. Their daily positive attitudes, attention to detail and cleanliness made them a pleasure to have around our home. They were always punctual, respectful and friendly, which goes a long way in enhancing the experience. "Eldi came to give me an estimate to repair and replace my walkway from the blacktop driveway to the front porch using colored paving stones. The front concrete steps had sunken so low that it was dangerous to use them. We negotiated the color desired and the price for the walk and the steps. Wow, he and his 2-man crew came the next Saturday, worked all day to perfect the design, and they were done by early Sunday afternoon. Elo was friendly, professional, and his team did excellent work. I would recommend him highly. Everyone who has seen the new sidewalk is astounded at its beauty. The work wasnâ t cheap, but it looks like it cost a lot more. D. Hahn, Castleton"
