"The company did a great job on the roof, but after giving me a price of $7500 and after they removed the shingles they told me there was additional damage and it would cost me another $9000. I wasn't prepared to have the price increase 120% and no one told me about that possibility. I felt that they took advantage of the situation because once the shingles are removed you have no choice but to pay the additional money!! Although they did a good job I would never hire them again nor would I recommend them to a family member or a friend. "

"Can't really find the words to express my full satisfaction with Kalthoff Handyman Services. I hired them to rebuild a very difficult deck---hillside/rock. They worked very hard to build a beautiful deck---quite an accomplishment. They worked thru late fall with very cold temperatures---never with a complaint. The price was fair and they never found reasons to raise the price. I was so pleased I asked them to do other jobs---new kitchen, 1.5 bathrooms (one was down to the studs), flooring in 2 bedrooms, front steps, insulation. Prices remained fair throughout. Always done professionally and with attention to detail/finishes. Tile work is beautiful/first rate. In the winter, the water froze (pipe in ground). They fixed it (found a way to solve the problem)---no charge. Really quite superior and I am fully satisfied with their work. Cory has the highest standards and completes whatever he says. I recommend them most highly and feel very fortunate to have found them."
