"Josh Taft and Brad were very personable, professional and efficient. They were also respectful of my house. This is the second time I’ve used your company. No offense, but I hope I don’t need the services of your company again."
"Great company to work with, very friendly knowledgeable people and customer satisfaction is their goal. Matt and his crew did a superb job restoring our finished basement after it got flooded when our sump pump had failed during heavy rains. Dual pumps were installed, along with waterproof and mold proof walls and flooring and a Sedona dehumidifier air purification system."
"I had multiple projects that I needed done , they had no problem handling everything .I only wish I would have known of them sooner because then I wouldn't have hired that other company, probably shouldn't mention their names but I feel I must because they were rude n tore my lawn up n never offered to fix anything they were "Green Leaf" so take it from me if you want to have a professional job done n treated with respect go with BoMak you won't be sorry!I will be acquiring there services in the future, guaranteed, deserve a 5*rating!"

"In response to my initial email inquiry, Eric, the owner, came to the house and we discussed all of the issues and how they would deal with them. He took measurements and pictures and was very professional, polite and encouraging. Within a few days he emailed me a very precise and detailed proposal outlining all three jobs and the estimated cost. I immediately accepted. Adam came to the house and took some more measurements and pictures and said the work would begin the following week and take three days. The required permits were taken care of right away. As scheduled, Paul (the onsite foreman), Lloyd and TJ showed up and began to work. Braces were installed against the basement wall after the cracks were repaired. On the exterior a French drain was put in along the side of the house extending to the ditch out front. The old walkout was excavated and a new permentry door was installed. The work went as planned with no problems and was finished in three days. All debris was taken care of and they cleaned up when they were through. All of my questions and concerns were answered. Adam followed up the day after the work was completed to see if I was satisfied and to answer any additional questions. I also must give kudos to Cynthia, the office manager, who made the paperwork and payment process smooth and effortless. The quality of the work and the quality of the employees is just exceptional. "Great experience. All staff were professional, respectful, and empathic. The staff all followed through with everything discussed and kept me informed every step of the way. The staff responded in a very prompt manner, and always with a positive professional manner. I would give them a 10 star on customer service if I was allowed, but the graph only allows a 5 star max. It has been a pleasure to work with this company and the people were real people, never felt like a number in their busy schedule. They went above and beyond in making a referral to another professional to assist us with another concern that did not relate to their work scope. I cant say enough about the politeness and responsiveness of all the staff which I came in contact with. It was a truely a pleasure interacting with Midstate Basement. I would recommend them to anyone who needs work done."
"I called numerous companies to give me an estimate on waterproofing our basement. Brandon was quick to respond and was able to address the problem and find a solution that was directed at the specific issue. Highlander was easy to work with and actually enjoyed having the entire crew at the house. They went above and beyond answering any questions with a guarantee and cost that I could live with. I highly recommend Highlander to anyone looking to fix a damp basement."
Basement Waterproofing questions, answered by experts
Whether your homeowners insurance covers slab leak repairs depends on your specific policy and the cause of the leak. Many policies cover slab leaks resulting from a covered peril, such as a natural disaster, a falling tree, or pipes freezing and bursting within the slab. However, damage caused by invading tree roots, corrosion, or leaks from appliances may not be covered by a standard policy. It's a good idea to also check your home warranty plan for potential coverage if an appliance is the source. Contact your insurance provider for a full explanation of what your policy covers.
The foundation repair that will work best varies based on the extent of the damage, the underlying cause, soil conditions, weather conditions, and more. Permanent foundation solutions like underpinning and exterior drainage solutions are better than temporary fixes that don’t address the source of the issue. Some examples of more temporary solutions include mudjacking or slabjacking, waterproof paint, and dampproofing. The best course of action is to have a reliable foundation specialist inspect your issue, treat the underlying problem, and restabilize your foundation.
Regular inspections, proper drainage management, and ensuring soil stability help prevent future settlement issues.
It’s not the number of weep holes that should be of concern to builders but rather their spacing. Weep holes are usually spaced anywhere between 16 inches on center when using round tubes or wicking materials and 24 inches on center when using open-head joints. This is a more conservative spacing than the 33-inch maximum spacing on center that’s mentioned in the International Residential Code. All in all, the total number of weep holes a brick exterior should have will depend on the size of the structure.
Access to commercial-grade products and equipment, ensuring thorough coverage and long-lasting protection.
