"This is the 3rd basement waterproofing work that AM Shield has done for us, the prior two being different sections of the basement involving foundation work and a French drain. This job involved a window well correction in the back of the house which abuts concrete. The owner is a pleasure to work with and the 3-man crew were punctual, neat and worked very hard. They removed a section of concrete, dug down and refilled so that it now drains properly. We had no water in the basement from the Ida storm which is the first time we've had a dry basement after a significant storm in many years. The crew re-patched the concrete which blends with the older work. I am very grateful to have found AM Shield and highly recommend them."

John and his crew of men came the first day (the heavy rains day) to start the work of relieving the hydro-static pressure, which was the opposite of where I thought the water was coming into the house on rainy days. I thought it was through windows and walls. I came home holding my breath to see that despite minor flooding in parts of Brooklyn and a full day of rain the basement was dry!
