What a terrific experience! From first communication, HC1 was professional, friendly, helpful, and fair. John came to the house to measure and discuss what I wanted. He offered a variety of options in both flooring and price point. He explained the process clearly and the written proposal was in line with what we had discussed. 24hrs before the job was to take place, he contacted me with the name of the lead contractor who would be in charge and the time they would be there. Everything went smoothly. The project was finished in a timely manner and the floors look gorgeous. Everything about this experience was top notch. On a scale of 1 to 10…this one goes to 11!

Scheduled a padding and carpet installation w John. I was promptly called back and all my questions were answered. Set an appt and was told who my installer would be and the arrival time. The installer was Jason. . He was a fine young man. Polite and professional. Was neat and efficient and got right to work. When I saw the complete job I was blown away. Not a wrinkle just perfect! I couldn’t be happier w the job itself and fair pricing as well as the whole experience from beginning to end. And again w the quality of Jason’s work! Wish all my contractor experience was like this one. Thank you guys!

I was very pleased with the beautiful floor refinishing work of Carpet One. John and his crew were professional, knowledgeable, and polite. I was unsure what Duraseal stain color to use on my red oak floors, and they took the time to apply different stain options to a small section so I could see the differences. I ended up choosing a 50-50 mix of Dark Walnut and Classic Grey, with three coats of satin polyurethane. My floors are now a milk chocolate color that masks the pink tones of the red oak while still showing the grain of the wood.

I’m very happy with my new floor.! They were very helpful thru the whole process, start to finish! Would definitely want them for future work!!!

The job came out beautifully! When Ienter my house, th first thing I look at is the flooring and what a difference it has made in the appearance of the house. I should have done it ages ago and thanks to Carpet One the flooring is great and easy to walk on. John was very professional and explained all options and pricing. He was great working within your budget. I stopped by unexpectedly one day and the workers wre so busy at work. Nice. Would hightly recommend them and will definitelu use them again in the future.

The representative, John was great and super flexible. He understood the challenge of getting floors done in a co-op building. I think the staff should have been a little more nice but there were issues here with the building and I was clear to get the work done in my new apartment. The floors came out great. I would ask to see stain chips, not from an image. I love how everything came out.

After receiving several estimates to have our floors done throughout our entire home, John from Carpet One was the most professional, respectful and knowledgeable person we met with. There are some interesting â floor guysâ out thereâ ¦thatâ s me putting it nicely. He delivered the estimate to us in the same day- which was amazing considering he came to us late in the day (as requested). He even used an ipad to map and measure the square footage precisely. He left floor samples with us so we could see the floor in different light throughout the day. I was able to easily retrieve additional samples from the show room to which helped us make our final decision. John was patient with us throughout the entire process - we were planning to apply the same floor throughout our entire house .. and as a first time home owners we did not want to rush! The team that installed the flooring worked hard, fast and cleaned up after themselves. They were meticulous.. we had several closets floored and tough angles. The floors were installed about three months ago- the quality is outstanding! Luxury is an understatement. As We continued working on our new home, the floors have been able to withstand spills, drops and moving furniture with no damage. When we had a very minor concern he came by the same day to look at it for usâ ¦ and of course without being asked took his shoes off at the door! We have received so many compliments. After we had 3 companies give us estimates and go over everything it was a no brainer. I hired carpet one first because they didnâ t lie to us about what we needed. They worked with me by doing an area and giving me time to move things around so I didnâ t have to move it all out. They answered all our questions. I highly recommend them.
