"On May 17th we had Northern Comfort come to service our pool heater. We were quoted $99 to come out and $99 for diagnosis. The tech arrived and could not figure out the issue. He called Pentair tech support several times and still was unable to figure out the issue but raised the gas pressure even though that had never been an issue and nothing had changed since installation. In the end he spoke to a Pentair salesman that their company was familiar with who suggested turning a gas valve screw. It appeared to work and heater finally stayed lit. It was only after this I was told the bill was over $600. When asked what the additional $400 was for, i was told it was for "advanced" diagnostics. I guess the phone calls to Pentair? I was then told the initial diagnostic fee only covered 30 mins, and the additional time was $200 an hr. I was NOT told this before the appt and at no time did the tech tell me there was going to be an additional charge if he kept trying to figure out what was wrong. I ask to speak with the owner and was given a women on the phone who was very rude and told me never to contact the company again. I refused to pay the "advanced diagnostic " fee. Less then 24hrs later the pool heater overheated and shorted out the Stack Flue Sensor and stopped working. I have emailed the company several times and they have not responded. It now appears that their "fix" may have caused additional damage to the heater. I have been in contact with Pentair and they agree. I requested at a minimum a refund or that they return and fix the heater correctly. No response. Its very disappointing as they were recommended by a friend."

"Hard to get them to return calls or return a product . Had them install indoor pool & hot tub. Hot tub cover disintegrated & fell into hot tub within 3-4 years. Horrible ! Go with another company ! They are awful ."

"We had the absolute best experience with Jeremy and his team and highly recommend their service. We wanted our inground pool opened in early May this year, along with a heater installation. TBTS stayed in touch with us throughout the entire process and kept to the particular date that we were looking to have the project completed. This was a new heater install, and it required a new connection to the gas mater. Brett, a contractor that works closely with TBTS, handled the connection to the meter and ran the gas line from one side of the house (meter to basement to garage to heater) to the other to reach the heater. He went over potential dangers to be aware of and demonstrated operation of the unit. The entire project was completed well before our deadline - our son's 7th birthday party. All of the guests, adults and kids, had so much fun. The pool was heated to well over 90° F. It was a warmer day in May but everyone appreciated the temperature of the pool. We're looking forward to many more years of extended swimming seasons thanks to Touched by the Sun Pools - thank you Jeremy, Brett, and Kyle!!"

"The blue bathroom is the remodel Bob did for us a year ago. He installed an up flush, macerator toilet that started to leak. It could not be repaired… too old to get parts. Interesting we only had it about a yr. It had to be replaced by a normal toilet which then involved changing plumbing. A very costly error."
