In the beginning I thought highly of John and Anthony and thought they corrected the problem but in January the squirrels were back. I called them and their phone number says that the voicemail is full. I wrote to them and asked them to call me. They never contacted me and still haven’t. I keep trying to contact them, but they refused to accept my calls. John told me I would have a guarantee to get rid of them for one year which did not happen. I am totally frustrated that they won’t even have the courtesy to call me back. I would not recommend them at all."

"I normally do not do much reviews but I had to this time. I live 800+ miles away from my parents. My parents are elderly. My father has spent most of the last 9 months in and out of the hospital and somewhere along the way brought bed bugs home. This was a disaster! They were literally eating my parents alive and I'm 800 miles away! I called many people but Tim was different than all of them. It has been a very very long road in getting the bugs cleared. My parents' home is very cluttered which made this process extremely more difficult to rid the infested house of these horrific bugs. Tim stuck through until the end. He kept me in the loop without me hunting him down. He would check on my sweet mom on weekends. He was in the middle of some large projects and totally stressed out and still found away to go to my parents when they needed him or they were ready for another treatment. Literally, no other company would have given my parents the time and care Tim did; no one. This is your guy. He's knowledgeable and he actually cares. It is of the Lord that He connected us with Tim. To kill fruit flies outdoors, you'll want to make a homemade insecticide or find a plant-safe, nontoxic product. Fill a garden sprayer with your chosen solution and apply it on your plants and around the base of your home's exterior. Take care to limit your exposure to insecticides, as they can irritate skin and eyes. Always rinse garden fruits and vegetables before eating them.

It can be difficult to know what type of animal is in your attic until you see it. But several clues can help you narrow down the suspects:

  • Sounds: Smaller animals like rats and mice make scurrying and tapping/gnawing sounds. Larger animals like raccoons and opossums make louder clambering noises. Also, note when animals are noisy: Squirrels are active during the day, while rats are busiest at night.

  • Droppings: Rats and mice leave small, rice-shaped droppings (the rat’s version is significantly larger). Bigger droppings belong to larger critters like raccoons. As long as you’re not squeamish, an image search can help you identify what you’re seeing in your attic.

When in doubt, take photos of damage or other evidence and show them to an experienced pest control pro.

Wasps tend to be more aggressive and defensive than bees. Both will sting to defend themselves or their colony or nest. But many bees have barbed stingers, which means they can’t pull them out of the skin after stinging, allowing them to sting only once. When provoked, wasps can sting multiple times, making them a more menacing pest.

Whether you, your dog, or your cat has been sprayed, Poison Control recommends using a solution of 1 quart of 3% (household strength) hydrogen peroxide, ¼ cup of baking soda, and 1 teaspoonful of liquid dish detergent mixed together and immediately applied to the sprayed fur or skin to get rid of skunk smell. After leaving it on for five minutes, rinse with water. If your eyes get sprayed, rinse for at least 15 minutes with room-temperature water.

Both spikes and loose nets can be installed over nest sites to prevent the bird from returning, but nets are not a humane option since birds and other wildlife can get tangled in them. 

Spikes are a humane alternative that deter nesting without harming the birds. In small areas, like vents, a very fine mesh net can be installed to prevent the bird from returning. These nets don't generally pose a risk to the birds.
