"What a great team I had. First Jim on electrical was terrific two new outlets each on their own circuit installed, very neat and professionally done. Next came the installation crew of Tim and Dan, these two are machines. They got right to work trenching the perimeter and then installing the drainage channel. Start to finish job completed in roughly six hours. Job site was left cleaner than I expected when dealing with concrete dust. Won’t know how it all works until water table rises but very impressed with the quality of the work and the people doing it. Thanks to all of you again."

My project was small enough that Woodford required no money down, they expected no payment whatsoever until the contract has been fulfilled to my satisfaction. The project took a month to complete. The Crew Chief, Bill, ably assisted by Matt and Don, did everything possible to prevent any misunderstandings and to have a 100% satisfied customer. This they more than achieved. Watching Don at the helm of the CAT in the tightest quarters imaginable was like watching a professional sports event and a modern dance all rolled into one. The swale he made is a graceful contour that suits the setting to perfection. Don is a true artist. So is Matt. After making 2 radii on the front sidewalk, Matt went on to make 3 more on the rear sidewalk. The sidewalk is not only functional, like the swale, it too is a thing of beauty. We have used ASTAR for many years to service our central air.  On June 30th we had a bad thunderstorm that sent a power surge through our home and fried our central air, whole house fan and some other outlets.  ASTAR came and we were originally told that it would be approx. 3-4 weeks and take 2 days to install the new system because they were all booked up. We were ok with that since the weather for the next couple of weeks was going to be in the high 70's. 

The following week the weather changed and it was going to be warmer.  Knowing we had no central air ASTAR dropped off at our home, 2 brand new window air conditioners! WOW!  They would have dropped off as many as we wanted but really only needed them for 2 of the bedrooms. Don't know of any other company that would have done that!  Now the following week (7/13) we had totally forgot the we had relatives from out of state coming to spend a week with us (7/22-7/29) and the weather was going to be brutally hot!  We called ASTAR and explained our situation and are happy to report that they came on Saturday, July 18th and did the entire installation in one day!  They put an extra guy on so they could get the job done!  It has been over a month now of hot and humid weather and the system has been on since they installed it! We have noticed that this new system does a better job at keeping the house cool then the old one which was only 10yrs old.  We highly recommend this company and will continue to use them for our preventive maintenance.  We would have given them a rating of A++ if it was offered!

"Unfortunately I didn't have time to read reviews on the brand of hot water heater installed. It was a Bradford White. The reviews are horrible. I guess I just have to wait and see how long it lasts. There were also complaints on the water heater relating to the warranty."
