"Anton, the owner of European Craftsman and Remodeling, has done a lot of work for us over the past few years. He has painted and fixed the entire exterior of our home, repaired our roof, built a beautiful front patio with stonework, and also re-finished our cedar outdoor deck. This man is an absolute top-rate craftsman of the highest order. Every single job that he has done for us has been done with great care, detail, and amazing quality. All of this done with complete trust, no price increases unless there is an impending issue that comes up, and extreme reliability. We have other work that we need done, and there is absolutely nobody else that I will ever call in the Hudson Valley - Anton is our man! We have had nightmare issues in the past finding good carpenters and contractors - they are usually not reliable, do garbage or incorrect work, overcharge, etc so when we found Anton, we were amazed and are now thrilled. If you need something taken care of in your home or want to upgrade some appearance, painting, stonework, repair, decks, I give my highest recommendation to call Anton. "My wife and I hired Kevin Babcock General Contractor to construct a 3 season room addition to our home. Kevin quoted a very reasonable price, for the project which included a start and end date, for the job. The project was started and finished within the scheduled time. Kevin is excellent with communicating what is going to happen, on the project, on a regular basis. He also answers any question you may have during the course of the job. His people are very professional and skilled, at all aspects of the project. In addition to the construction Kevin also handled all of the paper work including filing the plans, which we had already prepared, through to delivery of the C of O. Kevin also provided additional value, to the project, which just made it better, at no extra cost. "I was once told by a master stair builder that if you want to evaluate a general contractors work, look in the dumpster at the job site for an excessive amount of used caulk tubes indicating that they are covering up mistakes. Recently we completed a very challenging project that required the excavation under our old seasonal home in conjunction with a significant 2-story addition. "Al is very reliable. My Reno was complicated and involved some significant structural work. He was either on my job site every day or in touch with me by phone or text to keep me up to date on the work. This is not a guy who will go missing on you. Unlike others, he was great about making all required filings and getting all sign offs needed from the local Building department. He also worked very well with my architect. His carpenter, Louis, and his painter/plasterer, Johnathan were wonderful too. I would recommend him for future projects."
