Silver Fox Construction is a family owned corporation thats roots go back over 50 years when my grandfather started his first company. His determination and knowledge was passed down from gereration to generation. He was a veteran of ww2 as my uncles were also vets so there was always a strong motivational factor to be proud of who we are and the kind of workmanship we produced. I have a degree in residential construction and went to oswego university for vocational education. We can handle jobs from highend homes in the hamptons to small projects like hanging doors. We are licensed in nassau and suffolk counties. My wife and I are on the board of a not for profit childrens school as the head of the maintinence division. A portion of our profits go to a number of local charities as well as both paralyzed veteran and disabled veterans. "Hired them a month ago for the job, knowing I would need it reinstalled. Spoke to them 1 week ago and told them bottom rail was broken and would need a new one. They said no worries they will bring one extra incase the old one is unusable extra cost of 45$. I had no issue at with this. Job was set for May 4th at 2-3pm, spoke to the office that same morning to confirm and they said yes see you then. Nobody shows up at all and no phone call saying they are late or not coming at all. I call the office Today May 5th and ask what happened why didn't anyone come or even call, spoke to Jackie in office, she had no idea that the job wasn't done or that nobody showed up. Told me to hold on, came back and said they were very sorry and they guy will be here this afternoon, again i said ok and with the extra bottom rail, I was told YES. Crew shows up and the worker tells me they dont have any bottom rails for this job that they were never told they needed it. I call the office again, and the manager said that the install manager is on the way to the job to see what need to get done. 5 min later they call the workers and tell them to leave they will have to do the job next week some time. Not even a call to me at all, I call the office speak to Jackie and am told that they don't have the type of bottom rail I need so i will have to wait. Again no managers want to speak to me at all. This is a real crappy way to do business, DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! They don't care at all. Told Jackie I want my money back and that i will never use them again. Take heed before calling these crooks!"
