"The work that was done, was disappointing. The technician was sloppy and did not do a professional job. The kitchen floor should have been vacuumed before applying the sealer. He applied it sparingly and did not cover all of the grouted areas. Same with the bathroom tiles. He left residue on the floor and it was hard to get off. I believe it was a rush job, and a second coat of sealant should have been applied. I would not recommend this company. I don't mind paying for a quality job, this was not a professional job."

"We called Javier simply to swap out our 2 bathroom vanities with new ones. We ended up laying down new tiles on the floors and new tiles in one shower. They also repainted both bathrooms. We also hired him to redo our two staircases, which turned out better than expected. His worker Noel really put in the effort and made us happy. "We were extremely happy with the work performed by H&M. Moises, Hector and crew were courteous and did whatever needed to please us. They did most of the renovation in our condo......painting, installation of bathroom cabinets, sink, installed tile floor, etc. They also installed vinyl flooring in our kitchen, living and dining rooms. They had a plumber replace our heating baseboard, I would highly recommend H&M if you want excellent work done!!"

"Initially, things went great. They were responsive on the phone and had all the paperwork my building required to start the work. There was some initial discrepancy in the scope of work but I take some of the responsibility for that since I wasn't double checking the exact wording on their estimate which was different from what we discussed in person and over the phone. Also, I never saw the main contractor I initially spoke at my job site. He should've been there to monitor the work and check in with me to see if the work was looking close to what I asked for. I told them from the start what I wanted and even showed them pictures of exactly what I was going for, the results were far different. They seemed to cut corners and take no pride in the work they completed. The bathroom work they did was so bad I now have to completely redo it. There are huge gouges in the floor. Throughout the apartment, the stain essentially looks like a bad uneven paint job. They even got it all over the baseboards. They clearly did not polish the floors enough because its rough everywhere. I paid over $10k for floors that look ugly and now there is nothing to do but cover them up with area rugs. Also, some of my personal supplies were missing but they did compensate me for it. UPDATE: After discussing my dissatisfaction with the results, NYC Stone care did try and figure out a way to make up for it and I appreciate their handling of the matter."
