"FG Window and Repair Service replaced for us two 79”x69” tempered glass storm windows (filled with argon gas). The storm windows were replaced on the 2nd floor of the house. Both storm windows leaked with first rain we had causing major damage. The interior and exterior caulking was not down correctly. The exterior caulking was placed only half way up!!! It was bumpy, uneven and had missing gaps. The rest of exterior caulking did not stick. Many of the exterior screw cover caps were insulated crooked without silicone sealing, which caused the leakage of the frame too. The exterior trim was not tilted correctly preventing rain water from proper drainage. As a result of such poor workmanship, our white oak hardwood floor buckled and must be replaced and recoated with polyurethane. The ceiling on 1st floor has 2 large water stains from the window water leakage above. The stains must be treated and the entire ceiling must be repainted. Also, they broke 1 handle from our Marvin awning window next to replaced storm windows. We had to replace the entire crank mechanism ourselves. We offered to correct the poor workmanship, but received no response. Please think twice before hiring them! Ask us for any details or photos."
