"We had used Mako before and were pleased with their work however they are expensive, they charge $125 just to make a house call even if you don't eventually use them, but if you do use the they apply the $125 to the bill. This last time we used Mako, my wife tried to call me to approve an estimate of $445 to install a bathroom faucet and drain cover that I had purchased, but couldn't reach me so she let the man start the work. When she finally got a hold of me, I a few choice words with the plumber telling him that the price was outrageous, at which point he gave the phone back to my wife. I tried to apologize for my poor choice of words but the plumber would not take the phone. After he finished the work and was in his truck packing up my wife ran the water and used the drain plug to check the equipment he installed and water started gushing out under the cabinet, she called him back and in to fix it. He said the clip that holds the water hose in didn't click into place, but isn't that what I paid him a lot of money for? Its a good thing she check to see of the faucet worked properly. She also said the water pressure was very low and he said that was due to the kind of faucet I purchased and that was the best he could do. When I came home and look at the job, the water pressure was very low and after reading the installation directions I tried to adjust it myself but realized that the plumber also took the specialized wrench that was supplied with faucet kit that I purchased. I would never use them again or recommended them to anyone, as I had done so before."

"It was wonderful. I use this term because I wasn’t confident in the successful outcome. I had previously hired a drain clearing company and the problem seemed fixed for a few days. All five feet tall Barbara came over, diagnosed the problem. The pipe in the basement had to be cut out and replaced. The location was tricky and there was heavy work to be done, such as moving a semi filled washing machine. Barbara (owner/plumber) said she’d take care of ot and SHE DID!!! She saved the old pipe for us to inspect and we couldn’t believe the corrosion and blockage inside the pipe. The cost was extremely reasonable compared to other prices I received. "Very good experience! Leading up to the job, Luigi periodically kept us informed on scheduling (each day of rain postpones all work for a day, and we had a rainy July). Then, he and his men performed the work, which included installing a new fence, in a very structured way -- section by section over several days. Luigi also suggested and added a couple of creative touches, such as a gently curved walkway (we had planned it as straight, with no design) leading from the driveway to both our front steps and the main walkway (see below). He even accommodated our need for a way to get our dog out to the street multiple times each day, even as access to our two entrances was ever-changing. The finished product looks outstanding, and has really enhanced our home and property."
