The work I wished to have completed was not urgent so short wait was fine. I think that an emergency would have elicited an immediate service call. The electrician dispatched to my home was punctual. He phoned about 1 hour in advance to let me know when he would arrive. He was extremely pleasant and very efficient, with knowledge of the problems I had presented to receptionist.
