"Beware of unfair billing practices. I was quoted a price for a window removal and cleaning job based on approximate dimensions I provided from memory (as I no longer lived at the residence). When the company arrived and found the window was larger than I had estimated, they proceeded with the work without informing me of any price change. I was later emailed an invoice for nearly 3 times the quoted amount ? with no prior approval or notice. This may violate standard fair billing practices and consumer protection laws, which require clear disclosure and consent before altering a quoted price. This lack of transparency and communication is unacceptable. I would not recommend this business to anyone who expects honesty and ethical conduct."

"I checked with another contractor before choosing New Amsterdam. The other contractor’s price was ridiculous (shop around!). Sal & José gave me a vey reasonable price. They were very professional and knowledgeable. The job proved to be more difficult than expected due to a previous contractor’s questionable work, but they adjusted and did a beautiful job.
